Currently rereading 1984 for class, and I'm really excited to read about the book's historical context/analysis again ahhhhhhh- O'Brien is also a character I'm looking forward to reading about again, but I should probably give the other characters some love as well. uwu

Book 2 of the Wilderking Trilogy (Secret of the Swamp King) by Johnathan Rogers & Book 3 of the Thirteen series (Paperboat) by Trisha Priebe

I'm actually really liking Wilderking so far, I thought going into the series it
would be a bit too childish, but I'm really enjoying it so far.
It is indeed a lot like the Wingfeather series but without all the
cliffnotes, no fantasy elements, and being on a
way less grander scale like everyone said it was.

As for Thirteen... Some of the plot and characters are, let's just say thoroughly entertaining
and hilarious to me for the wrong reasons. In all honestly the idea of the plot is really unique,
which is why I wanted to give the series a try, but the execution of it isn't much better than the
characters. (Which I can sum up as being either too melodramatic, "mysterious," almost literally
flawless, or sadly underdeveloped.) So I decided to read the final book just for the fun of it. I mean,
who knows? Maybe Paperboat builds up to something that's actually pretty clever.

Important note:
I have returned temporarily for collecting/trading
December 18th pets and seasonal art purchasing. After
I do some trade ups and downs for art fodder to get a
couple pieces of art and save a few personal things,
I am going to host a giveaway and finally leave CS for good.
Thanks for the awesome memories CS. The Lord ended up
using this site to bring about a testimony that I will never forget.
Currently searching for artists who can draw HQ humans
in an olden time-period. Please PM me for more information.

The verse above is from Psalm 89:37 in the KJV Bible.
