I found another one of those 18th century history sites that provides so, so, so many scanned and/or exactly copied primary sources that I could burst into tears with sheer joy. Last week it was the criminal records, now boxing manuals. My bookmarks have been overflowing for years but the excitement never dies.

so today is my birthday and last night i was celebrating by watching a
bunch of metal tribute bands (dokken, megadeth, metallica, ozzy, sab
bath, and a star wars one) and during the megadeth set i just locked
eyes with the vocalist and we literally stared at each other for like 5
straight minutes (my dad later confirmed that he saw that happen) so
i kept making jokes that i was in love with him and wanted to marry
him - when i woke up this morning my dad and i had this conversation

dad: i found out the name of the vocalist from the megadeth tribute
me: oh? what is it? i love him
dad: [insert name here]. i found him on facebook
me: well tell him your son is in love with him
dad: i already told him i loved him and i'm leaving mom to be with him
me: wow dad. i'm genuinely hurt
dad: you snooze you lose, cody. anyway, he is freakishly hot so bye

so the girl scouts in my town are selling cookies in front of the dollar store, so i drove there to buy some and the girls assumed i was there to shop, so they said to me "hey want some cookies before you shop?" so i said to them "actually cookies are the only reason i'm here" and the three of them all said "YAY"

they had to have been around 9 or 10. how cute. and now i have cookies.

i just finished watching coco and it was such an amazing movie i absolutely loved it.
also met with my professor earlier and got some tips on how to prepare for the exam
tomorrow, and i am so stoked since i feel like i'm actually gonna do a good job woW.
