What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.
Sub-breed rules:
-All Khim Rules apply
-Please give the khim a height on the first post when you make it (17-19hh tall)
-All of the Khims on these lines MUST have pale colored eyes
-You are allowed to make a maximum of 3 adopts, 2 must me VC-common, and 1 may be uncommon, no rares
-The wings must match the horses base coat
-Horns must be a darker shade than the base coat(and must be either tans, browns, grey, or black)
-Mare and stallion both have wings and horns, the only difference is the normal khim base lines you use for each gender
-Do not remove or forget to color the 'wing view' layers showing what the wings look like from above and below.
-These khims can breed, but the lines do not pass to foals, meaning all foals will be on normal khim lines.
-Keep the halters on even when the horse is up for adoption
-The only way to obtain one of these is to get it through an adopt or as a custom

Edit: Just to clear things up because I have been getting questions about it:
People seem to not really get what Night Gliders are like, they are kind and gentle giants that are total pacifists and will run away to avoid any fighting unless they have absolutely no other choice. They are not fighters in any way shape or form. They are gentle and shy animals that just want to live peacefully and not get hurt or risk injury to their delicate wings. Their wings are very important to them and are fairly easily broken, so a Glider will turn tail and run because injury to their wings rarely heal properly and will leave them unable to fly, and that can lead to them dying. Their bone structure over all is weaker than a normal horses as they need the lighter bones to stay airborne, meaning they break easier.
