i know coding and woukd love to help out.
so does my dad, and server-wise, of you are going through akamai he's probably involved with your site
Just curious.
What coding languages are you familiar/excel in? How many years of experience?
I'm personally not a programmer or at least not where I can claim steadily enough to actually volunteer as one; however, I've taken a coding class in Java so I get the gist of it.
edit: I'm wondering if we're going to separate pet artists vs. item artists? Maybe I should ask cherry specifically whenever she's on.
javascript & hatml, *some* htp and css but still learning. i aso have a giant book on actionscript (aka ancient flash) and python
I see, so we're both learning programming languages. XD Maybe we can help each other out whenever we experience an error with our coding. I will say HTML and CSS I'm definitely very familiar with and both are the easiest languages to learn since they don't deal with object-orienting. I do want to learn PHP though and get a better handle on Mysql (because database is important, where else will information be stored?! ;D)
Just to go back on topic since this is a thread for artists.
Has the head artist been established yet?
Also, whenever I had sent my application form I asked about what art style WT will be adapting and toffee informed me that "
The art style/elements have not yet been decided. I will now ask the main owner about your application!". It's important that the art is consistent in terms of style and this includes the coloring process as well which is why I'm asking about it. Toffee never did get back to me on the style nor was it established by cherry (unless I missed it due to how fast we can generate pages lol).
I think it's vital that we have a style set, so we can all mimic it for the official art for WT.
