- Hello friends. (sorry that I'm assuming people as friends which I don't even know.)
I'm about to ask you for some important advice giving you the backstory and some opinions to think about.
I'm from germany and I live there so I started buying the Tokyo Ghoul mangas some months ago. I'm already at masterpiece 12 out of 14. And I've loved it so far that I'm going to buy all three spin-offs, the artbook(s) and the following series of mangas; Tokyo Ghoul:re. Of course all of the once I've bought are in my motherlanguage- german.
But I'm a person who is in love with the enlish language. I'm very, very good at it (if I'm allowed to say that without seeming like an egoist. I'm not that good in any other subject in school so I'm far away from being a perfect student haha.) and slowly changing half of my life to the language. I can speak or read it as good as german most of the time and I don't know if I will move countries in a couple of years which would mean that friends in a new country couldn't read them if I would borrow the mangas to them.
So lately I've started thinking why I didn't bought all the mangas in english. I'm so unsure what to do and would like some advice; should I re-buy the mangas I have to start the full collection in english? But there is one more thing; from what I've heared (some of the following may be wrong) the mangas in english are more expensive (I don't have a lot of money sadly). While the german ones cost about 6€, the english once cost about 10$ which is still equal 8/9€. This is due the reason that books in general are more expensive in america. Furthermore mostly the german mangas are out before the english ones (which seems pretty strange to me but whatever.).
If it would end in "re-buy them in english" I could try to sell the german ones to a friend.
sorry for making the post so long.
