➳personality; Chikara has been described as being a bit cold towards others though this is probably from not finding anyone like her. Or at least, anyone who can stand her social awkwardness. She isn't the best at communicating and can't exactly talk for over a few minutes without losing what she wants to say. She actually is quite friendly, especially around Nagisa and other close friends or people she looks up to. Despite that, she finds her own freedom on the ice where she seems to be replaced by another person. People who see her on and off the ice say that the second she gets on the rink, she chances. She's more carefree, her awkward stutter disappears and she acts, well, confident. Other than that, Chikara loves playing viola and piano in her free time as she composes most of her own skate music and routines as she only finds that she can skate to her own music.
➳history/relationships; Chikara's history is quite average. She started skating when she was about 5 and has been doing so as a hobby until she turned 11 and her father demanded her choose if she was going to do it seriously or just "for fun". He wasn't going to pay for more skates as she ruined her every other year and they were quite expensive for their family. He wanted to support her but didn't want to waste any more money. Chikara chose to go after her dream of skating a couple dance with one of the famous skaters at the time and that's how it began. Still the top girl of her classes, Chikara went to win first in the Junior Division and is already preparing for the Senior competition. In music, she has won many rewards for her compositions and is known for being the pianist in the school's orchestra. And lastly she took up swimming as a sport as she finds it is calming and the closest thing she can get to ice skating during some times of the year.

Besides this, he finds his own comical ways to entertain himself and is friendly towards the other skaters under Yakov. He now sees himself as being the best Russian skater after Viktor left to teach Yuuri but realizes he still has far to go as Yuri Plisetsky was there and he knew because of his mess-up at World's he would need to practice more to make his routines, well, better and he says he will do that for the next competition in Russia.
➳history/relationships; Not much is known about Georgi's past except that he broke up with his girlfriend before preparing for the World's in which he chose his theme to be "heartbreak". Out of all of Yakov's students, Georgi has been described as being the most emotional and expressive when skating and shows this by at times, screaming a name or just... screaming.

Guang-Hong Ji also loves the internet, especially SNS where he view other skaters, specifically Viktor Nikiforov.
➳history/relationships; Not much is known about the Chinese skater except that he made his senior debut the same year Yuri Plisetsky did. Placing 3rd at Skate America and the Golden Spin of Zagreb (held before Barcelona). Phichit got him into SNS and also got him into posting selfies. Leo is very important to Guang-Hong Ji which is shown during Guang-Hong's free skate where Leo is the assassin's friend who helps him beat the boss (Georgi). The two are seen connecting after the competition while trying to connect onto the live feed for the tournament.

Guang-Hong Ji and him are close friends, especially since they have a love for SNS and the internet but Leo took a break from SNS to prepare for competitions which worried Guang-Hong Ji a bit. Phichit and him are also good friends as they both love SNS and are seen together in a few instances.

He shows a deep love for his sister, unconditional love, but it is obvious how much he is willing to give to protect her from others. Very chivalrous and brave, he believes he needs to protects his sister's honor by keeping away the "dogs" or other men. Over time his protective feelings have shown to become extremely possessive and he loses his temper quite easily. After the last competition he is shown to have calmed down a bit and is more relaxed though still is protective of his sister.
➳history/relationships; Michele and Sara are fraternal twins and Sara often refers to him as "Mickey". They always are at the side of the rink waiting for each other but Michele developed a co-dependence on Sara when skating. He only imagines her which is one of his few flaws. His sister had been bullied when they were younger so Michele believed he had to protect her from others. The two have been skating together since the beginning.

Someone stated that when she found out her boyfriend had been cheating on her, she beat him up pretty badly.
➳history/relationships; Mila is ranked third in Ladies' International Singles, above Sara. It was revealed that she had been dating an ice hockey player but broke up sometime before episode four. Mila has a deep relationship with all her rink mates in Russia, especially Yuri who she sees as a younger brother and has for a while. Even Sara, who is her rival is considered a friend as she shows concern when the Italian skater begins to cry during her brother's program and tries to comfort her the best she can.

While he is is generally shy and quiet, his skating is actually quite expressive and emotional. Sometimes though he can show a kinder side as this is shown a few times throughout the series (not including spoilers). He seems to look up to Yuri Plisetsky and is persistent to become the best skater he can be. Known to have immense determination towards something he wishes to achieve, he has worked hard to get to where he is now and will continue to do so in the future.
➳history/relationships; Prior to the GPF (Grand Prix Finals) in Barcelona, Otabek had been a participant of a summer camp held by Yurio's coach, Yakov. During the camp (though this was many years ago), Otabek had been placed in the novice level for not being able to do the skills needed to be included in the junior. He really disliked this and worked hard to improve but seeing Yuri Plisetsky, his immediate thought was that he had "the eyes of a soldier" which he admits once he sees Yuri again one night during the GPF. But back to the story. After the camp was over, Otabek quit ballet, deciding there was no one right way to do something and focused more on the abilities he had than what everyone else was doing and that became the uniqueness of his style in skating. After a while of training, he returned to Canada and his home rink there to continue skating. During the previous season (his senior debut), Otabek won bronze at Worlds, silver at Skate America and gold at the NHK Trophy. Extremely popular in Kazakhstan, he is considered a "national hero". Otabek becomes friends with Yuri Plisetsky during the Barcelona event. He was seen cheering on Yuri when he went out to skate.

➳history/relationships; Yuuri began skating when he was very young at the rink near his house. His childhood friends, Takeshi and Yuuko also support him along with Minako, his ballet teacher who suggested he try out figure skating. Currently Yuuri is one of the few skaters certified by the JSF (Japan Skating Federation). When he was 18, he moved to Detroit to learn under Coach Celestino and did so for 5 years with Phichit as his roommate but after suffering a terrible defeat, he returned to Japan where he met Viktor after his performance of the famous skater's free program went viral. (And haha, he's the main character, I don't think I need to explain his relationship, but I'll do so anyways, with Viktor only though, just presume the rest or go check the wikia.) Yuuri always saw Viktor as a god and someone he wished he could be. The confident air, solid teflon, loved by everyone. Yuuri's admiration for the Russian skater was the reason he got a poodle like Viktor's and named it Viktor. After the Russian skater walked into his life, Yuuri has changed and grown closer to him, shown many times throughout the series. When Viktor leaves back to Japan to check on Makkachin, Yuuri's program suffers slightly but afterwards he runs to meet him at the airport and the two share an embrace. They also have matching rings which Yuuri says is just a good luck charm but Viktor says they're engagement rings which is what most come to assume now but he doesn't mind much. After the Grand Prix Final, Yuuri moves to Saint Petersburg, Russia to be with Viktor. They also skate the exhibition after the competition together to Viktor's previous exhibition skate, "Stay Close to Me".

However, he is stoic towards his mostly female fans, as well as toerh women, like Sara Crispino. He shows a more vulnerable side when he cries after failing to advance to the Grand Prix final. Seung-gil's programs do not contain any fanservice since he only ever thinks about how to best demonstrate his skills. He is also very calculative, tallying his base TES instead of fully focusing on his presentation during his short program, and watching Yuuri's free skate with an analytical gaze.
