Cole waited patiently as he groomed his paws.

Slowly but surly she could feel the giant was getting weaker. He was beginning to attack slower and seemed to lose his balance quite often. Vex didn't back down; she caught her claws in a groove of open flesh and managed to move herself farther up the giant and much closer to its head. She bit down on the side of its face but there was nothing to hold onto so her teeth only scraped along the surface. The beast grumbled and gurgled but it eventually lost its balance completely. Now was their chance. Vex fell with the giant and it landed on its stomach. She bit down on the back of its neck and easily tore off its flesh.

Neith gave a growl as she opened her eyes fully. She rose to her paws and shook out her pelt and stalked outside of her den and into the morning light. She'd slept in again.. "Crap." she hissed and trotted to the Borders and made sure everything was in order. She sniffed around for anything unusual.

Mitch awoke with a small yawn. He opened his eyes slowly before sighing softly. He slowly rose to his paws and stretched out his slender frame. Man how he despised mornings. The brute lifted his muzzle and sneezed before lumbering out of his den and into the light. He looked around and didn't see many wolves. Did he miss the morning hunt? He scratched his ears as he thought about his options.

She jumped off to avoid being squished, and watched as they attacked the giant

He pulled off skin from the Giants throat, and jumped off after it fell, accidentally pulling the skin with him.

Rowena stretched, her elegant head reaching up towards the sky and she yawned wide, her white fangs flashing briefly, her pink tongue rolling out before being trapped in her maw again. She blinked heavy, her ears pricked forward, listening to the forest beyond her. She had been keeping watch for roughly 3hrs now, and nothing exciting was happening. She was positioned just past the river. She could slightly hear the trickle of water, it made her sleepy. Huh! Whats that! her head snapped towards the river, straining past the sound of the water.. A battle! Finally! She jumped up, darting forward towards the river. She was a medium she-wolf, fast and lithe, but built heavy enough to remain strong. Her mind spun with excitement, she had been itching for a fight for weeks now. As bad as it sounded, life could be boring as a Guard.

She eased her pace as the scene came into view. A giant!! she growled, her head dipping as she snarled, squaring her paws before darting forward. Her coat like flickers of flames as it caught the sun before she latched at the side of the falling giants neck. Her fangs sinking in deep as a roar of satisfaction and violence slipped her chest.
"Couldnt let you guys have all the fun without me" she growled between the flesh of the giant, her body rippling with tight muscles as she pulled back, shaking her head wildly, like a dog on a tug toy. Her tail high.

The fae smiled with satisfaction as the giant fell limply after Rowena took the killing blow. Vex ripped off one of the horns from the giants head as a trophy. The alpha turned to Rowena. 'Ha! I wouldn't have necessarily called this fun though it was quite the challenge to bring this beast down. But we need to get back to camp, I need to see if Akela is ok.' Vex said as she began to head back to camp. 'If you guys can, try to bring as much of the giant back to camp as possible, their meat is very rich and tastes wonderful.' The fae spoke before she sprinted off back to camp.

"You know me Vex, challenge and fun mean the same thing" Rowena scoffed as she released her grip on the giant, her tail wagging very slowly, held high, but just below the alphas. Her grey eyes sparkled from the excitement of the kill, and she panted very slightly, her fangs visible. She nodded at Vex's instructions, straightening up and giving her firey coat a shake, releasing the tension and excitement she had been feeling.
"You heard the boss, meet everyone back at the camp," she exclaimed to Squirrel and Trex, winking at them before she reached down and sunk her fangs back in, her powerful lithe body tensing as she pulled back, pulling away as much flesh as she could, when she was satisfied she took off, trotting along the path the Alpha female had taken back to the camp, blood dripping down the fur on her chest as she moved.

The male stood up and bowed his head as the alpha walked by but quickly followed on her tail. 'My alpha, I've done as much as good to help Akela but he will wake up when he is ready, I'm not sure if he has any internal bleeding so he can get drasticly worse with time. If he is internally bleeding there is nothing we can do for him.' He said gravely. 'I gave him a poppy seed and dessed his wounds accordingly.' He said confidently.

Vex walked into the clearing and headed straight for her den to place the horn of the giant. Cole walked beside her and started talking about Akela and she listened carefully. 'Okay, thank you Cole. Looks like we have no choice but to wait for Akela to wake up.' The fae spoke calmly as she paced the horn in her den.
