oh ! Interesting !! A warriors film ? Thats really cool!
I saw a few youtube channels that said they didn't think
this type of thing would ever happen. Warriors can get
quiet violent, so it wouldn't be very good for younger
audiences.
But I have always wanted to see one ! Now that they have
decided to make one, I wouldn't mind seeing it at all ! I wanna
see warriors on the big screen, it would be very entertaining !

Tarn wrote:As you might've heard about an hour ago the Erins announced that the Warriors book series is finally getting an animated movie! It's still in the early stages of production so they didn't have much else to say just yet. What we do know is the film group that wants to produce the film: Alibaba pictures. They've distributed films like Little Door Gods and worked on blockbuster films like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies.
So with that said, who's excited? Who's nervous? What are your hopes and fears for a Warriors movie?
OMG YES FINALLY!!!!! I just hope its gonna be accurate. I wonder what the rating would be, most likely PG-13 XD

I don't personally think this movie isn't going to be all that great. I am expecting it to bomb.
They are going to have to make it child friendly but they will also have to set it up for people who haven't read a single book. They won't be able to get away with not making this a children's movie because there would small target Audience if they made It for older children or adults.
If they made this movie five years ago I would be much more optimistic about it. Their original fans are either gone or like me be in the 20-30 year old area.

I agree with all of this. I have kind of faded out of Warriors, but I'll still read it because why not. Maybe I'd see the movie, who knows. Just to see it, y'know.

I agree. Sorta. Now thinking about it, they would most likely make it different than the books to fit more of the general audience. Just look at the Guardians of Ga'Hoole movie *shudders*

I am actually hyped to see warriors being brought to life, but I would actually prefer it if it was made as a TV series rather than a movie, there would be less character cuts and merges and more of it for the people who enjoy it.
However, I am going to me so freaking mad at the fact on how this is probably going to be a children's movie, and the way that they're gonna have to water everything down so much I think might not be very enjoyable. And I heard that they might have to merge some characters, like Cinderpelt and Cloudtail, to become Firestar's sassy, med cat neice, and I really don't want that.
Tenelle Flowers made a video on what would happen about a warrior's movie, and the downsides and pros and cons about it, and I actually agree with a lot of what's she's stated there.
And the cat's designs, oooh boy. I'd love to see what the animators and Erins come up with, but the largely conspicuative designs like Longtail (whether he is a pale yellow or a silver) are just gonna cause arguments within the fandom, such as "
But the movie said Longtail was this colour!"
"The wiki says he's this!"
It's gonna be hell.
Anyone else prefer a TV series rather than a movie, where every chapter would be an episode?

I agree with the TV show thing. I saw that video a few months ago!
