Interesting. I'm learning HTML and CSS as well as dream weaver in school next year. Maybe next summer I could make my own adoptable website. For anyone who doesn't understand coding, Codecademy is the summer homework coding stuff we have to do and so far... I'm only a few lessons in, I've learned a lot! I think it is free but there are parts you can buy. It has lots of languages too.

Hello there, I got it all right and I must thank you so much that you've revealed something like this to other users... I could never get a code together like this at all I've dreamed about having a pet site for ages and after a few years I got to understand coding just enough to see how this is supposed to work (besides the key thing and all O__o and setting hatching time... argh).

Anyway, I wanted to ask as someone already did here before me, is there a chance for another tut with other possibilities, e.g. growing after a certain time, not in a day given, or implementing a very simple inventory where the pets would be? I'm just afraid losing a link is so easy and you'd never get your pet back... I had so many things in mind but this one is really bugging me (I have phpbb3 so I guess it must be able to be done somehow).
If you gave us a hint on just this, I'd be so very grateful... Besides that, I just can't thank you enough, even this very simple system and being able to do it with your help just made me so happy <3

Marking, I plan on coding a pet web site, but it is a major wip. Right now I'm concentrating on linearts and convinced my friend to help me create more species, but this tutorial should help a lot on getting the site up and running!

There are some staff members and ex-staffs who own a costum pet designed by their own or with help from another staff, but regular members can't design their own pets.
The only thing you can do is to submit pet design suggestions here ^^
