FTT, lol, why did I find this thread after I copied something so large?
Out of habit, I always copy the information of a forum topic post before posting it-- just in case the server glitches and deletes something I just spent forever typing-- so this is long content regarding a species I made on oekaki. OTL

"Well, I got bored the other night and decided to come up with another dragon species. This is my OC, Niveus, to show a good example of them.

I am considering making this a public species-- in fact, I'm actually thinking of making an editable version of this Niveus pic to be used to create them (Yes, you would be able to use lock alpha; the first time I'm allowing that on an editable from me, lol) but I have some concerns.
I want to know that people who are making their own of this species read all of the content below concerning them, so that they have a good idea about how they function-- and even look-- before jumping into the edit.
I may even just make the editable in sketches and experiments, and type in people's names to allow them to colour after they have TOLD me they have read the content and want to make one.
Just being safe over this, since I think I'd castrate someone if they made a PINK or NEON GREEN one, omg.

What do you guys think? Even interested at all?

Info on the species:

The dragon species are called Hiemalis. Hiemales for plural. They live within a cold desert, much alike the Gobi (prey species also do include camels, bovids, and the occasional rodent.)
Though many dragona possess scales, Hiemales hold a thick, water-resistant coat of fur that helps them to survive the harsh climate of their region.

Hiemales are swift and agile creatures. Though they are very large in size, approximately the size of a Triceratops, their thick, padded feet help them to traverse over sand and snow very quietly. They move much alike felines, and use their long, plumed tail for excellent balance.

They are very able with flight, and will travel for very long distances. They are considered highly nomadic, although sometimes the species will settle in a single spot for some time. Marking territory is very rare.

Their temperaments are wily and active. During the height of day when the climate is at its warmest, they sleep, yet the moment it begins to grow darker and the land becomes colder, they are up and about. They are very social creatures, living in large clans called packs. Their social structures are somewhat similar to that of wolves, with their being an alpha pair, beta, and the lesser omegas, yet mating happens between individual pairs that are spread throughout the entire pack. Pairs mate for life, and can have as many as four pups within a single clutch of eggs.

Visually, Hiemalis dragons are very long, with a good stretch of neck and tail to boot. Their wings are shaped like those of coastal birds, meant to glide on winds for long periods of time. Their front feet are generally thicker and larger than their hind. There is also more muscle in the front legs, although their hind are very long and springy. Much alike many dinosaurs, their is a dip in their spine at the shoulder that then raises at the rump and tail area.
Their heads are long with a canine-like shape, although their nose itself is somewhat feline. They have very small little fluffy ears, and males have horns that can vary into just about any Bovid shape. Sometimes males with four horns may occur, but it is quite rare. Females do not have horns at all, and are smaller in over all size than males.
Hiemales have a sort of mane running the length of their neck that becomes nearly twice its size when agitated. It is rare, but sometimes the mane is a secluded colour from the body.

In colour, Hiemalis are only NATURAL colours. Common colours are grey, dull shades of green, tan, and many shades of brown. Uncommon colours would be a silver-blue tone, white, or a rustic red. Very rare colours are black and gold.
The markings follow the same natural colour rule. Markings can be any of the above listed colours, yet there is no real rarity rule to them.
Markings can be spots, stripes, patches, or the entire Hiemalis can be "two-toned", like grey with a white belly. Markings do not come in stupid magical, symmetrical orders. Aka, no huge arrows, or straight zigzags, or crazy loop-de-doop crap. Think NATURAL, like tiger, or snow leopard, or even a cow.
Horn colours vary from tan, to brown, to black.

Hiemales are very evolved mentally, and are never considered to be "beasts", let alone anything alike a pet. They are very smart and capable of intelligent speech amongst other species, including humanoids.
Sometimes Hiemales will wear strange accessories. These accessories, if at all, are small trinkets generally given by mates. They can include bird feathers, flowers, other types of plants, and event the rare human band or ring-- anything very small, and easily tucked on by their beloved mate. Generally, these things are placed on the horns, or behind the ears.
Please note that they do not have thumbs, though. They're not gonna be swapping headphones, scarves, or generally anything that takes more effort than being picked up by a slobbery snout and prodded into the other's mane.

Hiemales live for about ninety years. They are considered mature at around age ten, yet they are very undersized at this point. They may not even grown to full size up until age 30, although they tend to reach full growth at 24 or so. They hatch with their wings, which are grown enough for flight by their first birthday."
