For all those who say horseback riding isn't a sport, that it's easy, that the horse does all the work, or that we have no courage:
If it isn't a sport, then why is it in the Olympics and have it's own World Games? If it isn't a sport, then why does it take years to get to the top? If it's so easy, then why do more people die from horseback riding than from motorcycle accidents? If it's so easy, then why don't you go hop on a horse and try? If it was so easy, we wouldn't spend hours getting the right stride, position, or simply the right turn correct. The horse doesn't do all the work, the rider works to, we just spend forever making it impossible to see our signals. If we didn't have any courage, then how do we fall from 10 feet in the air gong 35 mph, get up and do it again? If we had no courage, how are we able to entrust our lives into an unpredictable creature that doesn't speak our language? Now, all those people who think it's not a sport, it's easy, that the horse does all the work, or that we have no courage, look me in the eye, and tell me, do you still think that?
