On one of my first jobs I took an order on a table, for some desserts or something. When the cook rang the bell she told me the table number, but because I had taken that order myself I knew she rang out the wrong number (probably misread it or something) and just took it to the correct table myself (we had like, 3 tables that day and it was a very specific order). A while later she hurredly came over and apologised for making that mistake, and saying I had taken it to the wrong table, but I told her it was fine as I had taken it to the correct table because I had taken the order. At this she proceeded to say to my manager (who was in the room, next to us) "Wow, [Chevalier] is so good at his job! He's so smart with all that, he's the hardest worker in workplace." (or something to that effect). My manager was dead silent and awkwardly walked off. I did the same thing - I had been there for like 2 weeks, I detest getting compliments like that, especially in public, and the compliment was clearly not warranted for doing something so simple... And my manager could hardly agree nor disagree, because both would be terrible responses, and it just made the entire atmosphere awkward. Ahh...
^ It amazes me that people read Warrior Cats so young when I read it when I was like, 12? I suppose I was reading similar books when I was around that age but I always associate WC with young teens. Anyway, hope your teacher recovered - I never knew that about Cubone and that's horrifying!

Hmmm kind of a hard question I'm not quite sure! But, if I really had to chose one, it would probably be ramen just because its easy to make and its the first thing I actually cooked on the stove without help.

ohhhhh eugh that is awkward. like, i get what she was trying to do, but yeah time and place is important. especially if other coworkers are in earshot, then like, they might get jealous or upset at you for just doing your job?? also i read warrior cats in like. first grade bc i have a sibling 3 years older than me who was reading it and also it was one of the few books that weren't banned in my private, religious school so it's not like i had many options. we couldn't even have pokemon. it's prolly why im a furry now LOL.

the last game i bought was uh. pokemon scarlet, and i enjoyed it! it has its bugs and issues but it was a nice break from the usual Pokemon Style Gameplay (letting you choose your path).

dodo bird because i love birds a normal amount. people assign a very clumsy funny energy to it and that's kind of me. i'm also silly and easily menaced by rats and unfamiliar dangers. yeah.
