^ ...I'm not sure if this is a general statement or an actual question (> is usually for your own thoughts, v is a question for the next user) but I'm currently feeling alright. I had a decent day at work and quite a nice end to my shift - my manager said we could take an extra beer on our way out and I made a nice dinner (ratatouille and eggs).

  idk how much you are aware of my ocs, so i'm going to repeat things i've said on this thread previously. you have my apologies if any of it is old information to you!
  so my main two ocs are elektris (they/them) and the character formerly known as xia (it/he + maybe xi/xis/xir???? - also sorry i need to rename him but i haven't thought of a name yet),, so one day Younger Me was thinking to himself 'i love the aesthetics of bands but idk how to play any instruments :sob:' (bc i TOTALLY think in discord emotes /j). at the same time, i happened to be obsessing over sableye and eiscue (no ice), because i made it look like those two pokemon were holding hands on pokefarm. (here is the image in question, because i will use any opportunity i can get to show it to people sdkjfhsf). thus (formerly) xia and elektris were born into existence!!
  i'm gonna start off with elektris bc i recently redesigned them and their personality is still a bit up in the air. they're based off sableye so originally they were very Goblin-esque,,, and while i do still want elements of that woven into their character, i don't think the idea of a completely Chaotic Being is very exciting to me, particularly when i think about them in a real life setting (which, i forgot to mention this, ive decided that these characters will live in a major city in a universe almost identical to ours,, originally the setting was more sci-fi and (no longer) xia was actually going to be a cyborg at one point :eyes:) still, they're fairly reckless and impulsive, and i imagine they have autism and adhd,, it was actually their idea to start the band and move to the city ((not) xia and elektris grew up together in a small town bc childhood best friends are everything to me <333 OH ALSO there's a third band member who they met in the city,,, i'll talk about her in a moment,,, OH WAIT I FORGOT TO MENTION they're in an actual band now!!! the orginal idea was like they wanted to be in a band for the Aesthetics bc idk,, ig i liked the idea of fictional characters that i made who could be Literally Anything also being restriced by the same things that i felt restricted by,,,, but then i realized it's much more fun if they have a real band so yeah sdjkfshf) they're very like,, hands-on sort of person. hmmm idk if i worded it right,,, like they like to work with their hands a lot??? so like,, they make a lot of crafts,, anything from beadwork to (small) construction projects (i like to imagine they built a bird feeder and put it on their balcony so they sort of have pet pigeons but also not really,,, it's kinda like nadia (main chac from russian doll) has oatmeal but like,, doesnt yk?? they come back sometimes but also they're free to roam except for it's much better for the animal bc it's pigeons instead of a cat ykyk),, thye hyperfixate on projects a lot so the apartment they share with (not) xia is filled with craft supplies and tucked away in almost every corner,, oh and their room probably has several unfinished projects in it. oh and they dumpster dive,, they like to use objects they find in the trash in their projects,, particularly Shiny things (bc i still have to have a little goblin thrown in there lol) i think they're p closed off socially. like,, they have unending affection for their loved ones but i imagine that they're wary of anyone they don't know. (because of this, (not) xia was the one who sort of initiated the friendship with the Third Band Member,, but it should be noted that elektris warmed up to her quicker than they usually do with strangers),, okay i've written a lot already but i wanna talk about their role in the band before i move on to xia (i'm going to quit reminding you that that is no longer its name bc im annoyed with myself). so like,, i imagine them being the drummer? i thought they would be a guitarist, and i think they do know how to play guitar,, but they prefer the feeling of playing the drums,, i also love the trope of drummer just,,, tapping on every all of the time??? very fun form of stimming and i am forcibly assigning it to elektris kjshfkfh,, OH AND they do some of the vocals (they won't sing live, though, not bc they're too anxious to but i think that they get Intensely Focused on drumming and wouldn't want to think about anything else while theyre playing) on their tracks,, they enjoy singing softly, so many of their ballads are actually sung by elektris. OKAY i think that's ev- WAIT NO okay so while all three of them write the music for the songs, elektris has no involvement in writing lyrics, as i'd imagine they one. consider lyrics to be the least interesting part of most songs; and two. have auditory processing issues ,, okay now i can move on!!!! AAAA SORRY I FORGOT SOMETHING ELSE :sob: theyre hyposensitive, which feels extremely important for me to mention but idk why,,, okay for real that's the last thing
  so, xia was inspired by eiscue. now, eiscue seems to me like an Incredibly Anxious Creature, and much like elektris with sableye, the original concept had xia being a perfect match with what i imagine eiscue to be like. but in time, his personality has evolved to be,,, more dimensional. it still struggles with anxiety, but most of that is center around elektris,, i imagine he's actually like,, their caretaker, which is part of the reason why they both live together (they would live together anyway though),, idk i think he probably has autism as well,,, idk i havent quite worked out the logistics yet but i think it might be a mix of sensory-avoidant and sensory-seeking?? like,, idk i imagine it having issues with Loud Noises:tm: (it's just like me fr fr) but kfjhkfgh idk ??? he cant be out here having meltdowns every time they perform so,, that might change after i do some research on musicians with sensory issues. BUT YEAH back to its personality!!! hes very friendly and bubbly,, like,, outgoing and social to the point where it wears himself out socially all the time,, definitely high masking, i think,,, like i think performing on stage would be sort of outlet for him ykyk. idk i haven't decided on an Official Genre for their band yet,, but i do know i'd like to have some of their songs feature scream vocals which xia always jumps at the chance to perform, partially bc it enjoys the Emotional Release that comes with screaming your heart out but also partially bc the sound doesnt bother him as much when he's the one making it (some of the time anyway, but i imagine there have been many times when it's caused itself to have a meltdown). idk i think he also struggles with identity quite a bit,, bc most of its life, its sense of self has been tied to elektris. yk, he's always been most known as 'elektris's friend' and while for the most part it has embraced that role and title,, he has moments of feeling as if it doesn't have any idea who he is outside of their friendship,, but idk. thats not Very Fun so let me talk about more lighthearted things about it,,, so yeah!!! i imagine him to be creative similar to elektris, but where they pour their energy into crafts, xia prefers writing and coding. (idk i said i was gonna move on from the Not Fun Stuff BUT i just,, wanna mention really quick that it uses his hobbies to help with its identity crisis!!! i think it likes to make,, the beginner's guide-esque style one-off games,, like,, he makes all these small little games that only he knows about and that helps remind him that it can and does have things outside of elektris),, ofc with the band he doesnt have as much free time to devote to his hobbies, but he doesn't mind so much. idk i don't imagine him writing much outside of writing lyrics BUT he does have a journal that it keeps on its person at all times,, it tries to write in there daily, even if it's just something small about the day. idk xia is not as thought as elektris,, bc im still in the process of redesigning (or designing, in the case of the Third Band Member) but,, i do have some thoughts about what he might look like. here is a picrew i did of it
  OKAY quick paragraph about the Third Band Member (she/her) bc i'm running out of steam FAST,, so she doesnt have an Official Name,,, idk the first name that popped into my head for her was shelby so that's what i've been calling her. for the purposes of this paragraph, ill use that if i need to call her by name. OKAY so yeah shes my first officially trans character!! (well, okay,, idk if xia and elektris count?? bc originally i imagined them more gender non-conforming but now they both identify as nonbinary (xia uses agender as well, and probably a few other labels but for simplicity's sake it usually just calls itself nonbinary). BUT yeah idk they both probably don't feel the need to medically transition,, SO yeah idk ig lately ive been feeling a lot of trans pride and i just wanted a good ol' hormone-takin', surgery gettin' trans character!!!) idk i dont have a lot about shelby figured out, but i know she's very quiet,, she has autism too, with a special interest in music. i want to make her like,, a walking encyclopedia of music knowledge, but i am very dumb and idk if im capable of learning enough about music to write a character like that well,, idk,, i think like, if you look at her dynamics with xia and elektris,, you might think she's like a third wheel? but idk i think it's not that she's left out of the conversation a lot,, it's just that she doesn't like to talk as much as she likes to listen. plus, i think elektris in particular goes out of their way to make her feel included (although sometimes they can be a bit overwhelming),, idk she's probably at least partially non-verbal, kinda similar to ferb from phineas and ferb? HOWEVER i think she has no problems with singing and might even be the lead vocalist for the band???
  idk everything about all of them is still up in the air bc my ocs are v messy but i love them a lot,, sorry for this Wall of Text!!!!!

My effort in trying to mask my ADHD :'3 I'm not diagnosed but my family member who is has told multiple times that we are VERY similar so!! I cant get diagnosed rn anyway (personal stuff) so </3 but yeah... it can be really hard, especially when I do stuff to prevent bad things from happening (bringing wireless headphones if I'll be in a loud environment/leaving a crowded area/asking someone to order for me) and my mom will get onto me for it :[ like maam!!! I'm trying to make both of our lives easier!!! Pls!!!
