- it depends on what you mean by 'down', because even if you just mean it be generally upset, that could still be several different emotions. still, if i'm feeling sad, i usually just listen to music. if i'm angry, i'll rant to myself and pace around my room. if i'm depressed, i'll put on a comfort show or film.
for example, today, i yelled at the air in my room (well, the air being a substitute for my parents since i'm not in a position where i could actually have a Emotionally Significant conversation with them) and paced around for about an hour. now i'm going to watch youtube and hopefully find something funny to make me forget that i ever was angry. it's not about what my lack of emotional permanence does to me, but what it can do for me B>
