• i've been pretty interested in autism and adhd. i would infodump about them, except for i have to write a paper today and my brain is fried from having to Word.

  > taking a break even though i haven't even started my paper on aba for autism lmao,, i just started looking at sources and i began to feel burnt out. like,, it's so frustrating bc all the "scholarly sources" are written from a non-autistic point of view. i'm only allowed to have one .com or .org source, but a lot of the articles written by autistic people are on those sites. like, yeah statistics and facts or whatever, but also i think personal testimonies from people who underwent the therapy my paper is about would be a lot more impactful than some article from nineteen ninety-one claiming that aba is the best thing since sliced bread. (that is obviously an exaggeration, but like,,, i am Frustrated)

i was obsessed with hades for a good while back there and it definitely still has a special place in my heart but the games i've been playing most lately are just dance 2022 and uh... papa's freezeria

v do you create (art, writing, music, anything really)? if so, where does your inspiration come from?

yes i do! my inspiration varies between mediums… it’s easy to say that my inspiration to knit and crochet mostly comes from a desire to make my own clothes that express my style. most of my visual art for a while has been photo studies, so i get inspired by a photograph that i connect to so much that i have the urge to recreate it myself exactly how i see it! and for things like my ocs and my writing, it’s either from wanting to create people that i would like to be around and/or visualize my ideal future in a sense, or it could be about exploring emotions/experiences that interest me (often ones i haven’t gone through myself). saw this tumblr post that said something the lines of ‘creating art is literally an exorcism you have to get it out you have to’ and i think that sums my experience up well
