Pets on CS are now “sentient” - they are programmed by AI to seem alive - and you must interact with and befriend them before adopting. If you offend them, then they can block you and you can no longer adopt any of that outcome, ever. You also must chat to them daily or else they’ll run away to the Pound.

there are no more oekaki forums. no recent works when youre picking which forum to go to. featured work still exists though. want to view someone's art? you have to hunt for their account and look at their gallery when you want to do this. you cannot follow them, however you can still friend them for easy access. detrimental? not really. an absolute pain? entirely.
