allegiance changes
• as the cold weather ravages highgarden's territory, leaving deep snow drifts in place of greenery, a patrol comes across a lone expectant mother. she is initially fearful of highgarden's intentions and expectatons, but feels she has no choice - she is skinny and her long fur doesn't offer enough protection for the circumstances. it is with this in mind that she dares to follow the patrol back to the camp, where she is welcomed into the warmth of the nursery and the company of the other roots and seedlings. she is officially welcomed into highgarden with the name goldenthistle
• meanwhile, hiccup of risingclan stumbles onto highgarden's territory after many weeks of traveling. she is exhausted and highgarden offers her shelter and a place to rest back to her full health. during her time getting back on her paws, she becomes friendly with primrosebriar and periwinklemoon, and the pair manage to convince hiccup to stay under her new name, inkpetal. shortly after, her sisters and their families arrive in highgarden as well and settle in with the names autumndapple (autumn), pepperburn (pepper), laurelkit (jesse), and dunnocktail (arthur)
• thankful for recent renovations and expansions of the nursery to accommodate the roots and seedlings, tempestcreek welcomes her kits into the clan, deciding to name them in her father's honor: cyclonekit, monsoonkit, tremorkit, and typoonkit

the four littermates weren't entirely sure what had happened, or where they even were. the last thing they remembered was their clan of birth pretty much falling to pieces, and having to run to escape potential death. luckily, they had managed to stick together, but after running for what felt like hours, they curled up together at the base of a tree beside a running stream of water; one of the four was supposed to stay up as a guard while the other three slept, but eventually, even blackgaze succumbed to his exhaustion...

when the four cats woke up, everything looked different. they were still under a tree and they were still near a stream, but besides that, it had all changed. there were bushes with odd berries that they had never seen before, and as smokefoot climbed to the top of the tree swiftly to look around, he disturbed the nest of a large strange bird whose squawk started him into falling and landing on his sister, stillvoice, who gave him the dirtiest glare she could muster as she shook him off. "where in starclan's name are we?" blackgaze whispered as the four cats looked at their new surroundings in awe.

just then, the voices of a few cats could be heard approaching, and quickly the four siblings backed against the base of the tree where they had previously lay, ears flattened and eyes wide as a small group of cats appeared on the other side of the stream for a drink. a young molly with no tail seemed to notice them first, and with a surprised meow, the other four cats with her quickly landed on the crouching forms of the siblings. "well hello there! don't worry, we won't bite. we're just passing through the area on our way to the next town. i'm palkia, and this is my partner dialga; we're the leaders of pocketclan. fearow and stoutland are some of our warriors, and kabuto over there is an apprentice. do you all live around here?"

smokefoot had always been the sibling to talk for his littermates, and so the black tom stepped in front of his littermates, meeting the blue eyes of this palkia with his own green eyes. "i'm blackfoot, and these are my siblings; stillvoice, shadowgaze, and blackgaze. did you say you're part of a clan? we grew up in fireclan, but it exists no longer. perhaps we could travel with you, at least for a little while? we aren't quite sure where we are, and until we figure it out, the safety of numbers would provide a bit of peace."

at this time, the tom that palkia had gestured to saying he was her co-leader stepped forward, offering a kind smile as he graciously gestured with his paw for the other cats to approach them. "we would be glad to have you all, and equally glad to hopefully provide you some answers as to where you are. welcome to pocketclan."

SolarClan is disbanding! They are going to transform into ShiningClan, a reboot of my very first clan. They will change to my second clan, non-hard mode. [changes approved by Katrione!] I will be keeping Fireblaze, Chivewhisker, Rustgaze, Degupaw, and the blank slate found in SolarClan's last reply into ShiningClan. I would like all other cats to be presumed dead.

ShiningClan was a clan of honor, at least before they scattered and the clan was disbanded. Many moons went by without a trace of the former ShiningClan, each living member finding a new home in foreign lands. For one cat, one who left family and friends behind in their old clan back when the Clan was still thriving and hearty, they feel lost. They tried to go back to their home, to rejoin a clan they once left, only to hear stories that clan was run out of town, that the clan was no more as of many, many moons ago. Still, the former ShiningClan warrior seeks to re-establish the once great clan, to reconnect with their roots and bring families together once more.

To uphold the natural order and law of the world - that has always been and will continue to be ShiningClan's motto. They are typical in that they strongly honor and follow the warrior code, not trusting any morally gray cat or those that seek to disobey clan laws. ShiningClan cats are all just warriors who seek peace, unless someone is crossing the line. They are often loyal to a fault. They believe in StarClan, where their ancestors guide them often.

The territory of ShiningClan is much like it was in the very beginnings, back when the current leader was a warrior. They live in an abandoned Twoleg building, though much bigger than the one they remember. In Twoleg terms, it is an old summer camp, abandoned for over twenty years on a dirt road that not many cars frequent. To the clan, it is a safe haven where not many Twolegs frequent, a bit of hope in the area that ShiningClan lives. Fields stretch across the north, east, and west portions of the territory, and a forest lies to the west. To the north lies stretching fields utilized by Twoleg farmers for hay, a dangerous area for kits. The east, across a hay field, lies a Twoleg farm and more Twoleg dwellings. The barn cats are often skittish and wary of the clan cats, but some may pose a threat. The horses are not often friendly either, but the barn offers a place to hunt many mice. To the south end of the territory lies a busy Thunderpath that not many ShiningClan cats dare cross, for fear of getting attacked by a monster. Occasional sounds from the Thunderpath may reach the camp, something that the cats have learned to live with.

The prey of ShiningClan is typical - Chipmunk, rat, hare, songbird, bat, and robin.
The predators of ShiningClan are badgers, foxes, Twolegs and their monsters (both cars and tractors), an occasional aggressive deer, birds of prey, dogs, and other cats.

They were all once ShiningClan warriors that left the clan for unknown reasons [moon 39 in ShiningClan's history] between the ages of 15 moons and 30 moons, and would approximately be 71 - 86 moons old now in ShiningClan's canon universe. PineClan was a Clan that highly believed in StarClan.
The Warrior Code they followed was the same as the early Clans'.
The original cats of PineClan were long-furred cats with coat colors that ranged from black to light gray.
