- The Dire Wolf by The Tragically Hip. My favourite lyric is "When bigger boats been done by less water". I don't know if this is the true meaning of the lyric, but to me, it's a reminder that we shouldn't compare ourselves to others. Suffering and adversity are subjective, and although "bigger boats have been sunk by less water", doesn't mean that we can't still come through or succeed. Equally, we shouldn't invalidate our experiences when we consider someone else's struggle to have been harder.
It's the book "A Feast for Crows" by George R.R. Martin. I still haven't read the series.

- edit; This may be a controversial opinion, but season 1 of Star Trek Discovery was just one long bad episode. Season 2 has some fantastic moments, though. Really liked episode 9 and the meeting in the beginning of ep. 4 was somehow wholesome. Linus is my favourite character and he deserves more screen time.
