sad but true.
I love the genre, and when done right i absolutely enjoy the golden classic tropes even after the millionth time, but sometimes it feels like taking ages before a truly fresh idea of scary emerges. However, lately there has been some absolute gold popping up here and there , mostly from small indie producers 🙏

country music is kinda cheesy but very much enjoyable , and not as shallow as its often thought to be.
(Talking about actual country music, not that certain brand of softwashed ,same-y nonsense with uncomfortable nationalist undertones that is released by certain american musicians lately )

It really depends on the anime and if that's your sort of thing or not. I personally wanted cartoons with topics that were more serious and anime gave that to me. I personally adore the music, the art etc. But I understand that not everyone finds it appealing.

90% of the time egg tastes bad. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs are all super gross.

cellar spiders/pholcidae are the only spiders that wouldnt make me scream if i saw them in my clothes so i agree
