semi agree, if you have a properly sized tank that is fully cycled and planted, such as a 75+ gallon, then it’s perfectly fine to keep them indoors, however i agree that they should not be sold to people who don’t have the means for properly caring for them. they shouldn’t be advertised as easy and low maintenance fish, they deserve proper care and parameters.

completely disagree that they should not be sold anymore, with proper education and care goldfish make excellent pets, my boyfriend has lovely goldies and they are so fun to watch and care for when they’re given proper space and attention.
