sam and pam went on a walk after they went to a restaurant with Fran and dan, Sam and Pam both collapsed and went to the hospital, Pam died but Sam didn't, Sam believed that Fran had poisoned them, but Pam collapsed from rat poisoning and Sam collapsed from sleeping meds. Dan told the police it must've happened when he left to go to the restroom, Dan also had sleeping meds on him and particles from rat poison, Fran said she didn't know who did it but she felt quite sleepy afterwards
