English is not my mother tongue. My mother tongue is Arabic, more specifically Lebanese Arabic. I also speak MSA though. I'm fluent in French and taught myself English. I know a little bit of Japanese as well, but not enough to form sentences or understand them. I'm very slowly working on it.

I didn't really "do" this, but just today, I was doing some research on something that's been driving me mad lately (basic rundown: "This flower couldn't possibly be the same species as the other flowers ingame due to significant differences in appearance, so what kind of flower is he??") and actually found not only a theory that makes perfect sense, but also a real flower that is pretty much a perfect match. That makes me way happier than it should because I finally have an answer,,,
As for something I actually did do, I made a few quizzes recently that I'm proud of!
I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to get the constellation Cassiopeia on my left arm. It's my favorite constellation, and I'm passionate about stargazing. I also like the idea of having a tattoo based on a work of fiction (cough, a game, cough) but I know that my current hyperfixations aren't going to last forever.

billy joel and david byrne are phenomenal lyricists, but i feel like pointing to something more obscure so i'd say the ballad of peter pumpkinhead by xtc. it's about what would happen if a perfect man akin to jesus were to be alive today (well, in the 80s at least)
