Sensei stumbles slightly but regains his footing before looking back at River and myself.
River barks and yips happily, encouraging Sensei to do his best.
"You okay Sensei?" I call to my Pokemon, concern clear in my voice.
Sensei reassures me by nodding and chittering.
I nod slightly before saying, "alright let's keep going. Another Absorb attack!"

The absorb attack hits the pichu, and it retaliates with another thundershock!

"Dodge it Sensei!" I call out to my companion, who narrowly avoids the thundershock.
River watches,her adrenaline rushing through her body as she shifts on her fins.
"Amazing job Sensei, now Tackle!" As so as the command flies from my lips, Sensei readies himself and flies over (well runs as fast as a Seedot can run) to the Pichu. Tackling it hard.

You landed a critical hit! The pichu fainted.

With a huff, Harris picked up the surprisingly heavy Clampearl. The group crossed the log warily and finally escaped the horrid bog. Harris looked towards the bright meadow where the Bug Pokemon played, stumbling awkwardly towards the biome. "Hopefully there's a pond there..." Harris wheezed as the Clampearl was making him weak.

Bonni watched in awe as the blue and red Pokemon worked with her own Pokemon to remove the obstacle in their path. It made it look easy!

Once Bonni shook herself of her thoughts, she took a look at her Pokedex. Zamazenta...that was the legendary guardian-shield Pokemon from the Galar region!

"Zamazenta!" Bonni nodded to the shield Pokemon. "Thanks for your help, we'd be stuck without you." Higgs seemed very grateful; he was jumping up and down excitedly while waving the map around. Skadi was sitting, but wagging her tails and yipping happily. Bonni thought a moment, then tossed Zamazenta a pokepuff. She figured it was the least she could do.

"Welcome to the team Jolteon. From here on out, I'll be calling you Thor." Alastair said as he pressed the button on the Pokeball that he caught his newest team member in to let him out of the Pokeball. The other Pokemon on the team instantly greeted and welcomed their newest team member, which made Alastair quite happy that they approved. As the Pokemon conversed with one another, Alastair thought of what to do now. His journey had only begun a short time ago and he already had several amazing Pokemon on his team. In fact, he had five spots filled in his party. He knew there was one spot left and wanted to wait. He wanted that spot reserved for something special.

"Alright everybody. I've decided that instead of walking around with the intent to battle, we shall make something of our adventure and just go along. Have some fun, meet some wonderful people and Pokemon. But no worries, we will still battle some wild Pokemon. But we also need some experience in trainer battles!" Alastair told his Pokemon. "Let's move on. We shall let the path guide us to well... Wherever!"

Bowled over by the rampaging Grumpig, Eevee yelped in pain as one leg collapsed beneath it. The little fox pokémon fell into the dirt, whimpering softly. “Vee... eevee,” it cried.

As his friend hit the ground, Neptune let out an offended squeak. The large Grumpig swiveled to face the Froakie, alerted by his noise, snorting angrily. ”Pig, Grumpig.” The larger psychic-type pokémon growled, before charging right at Neptune.

Alarmed, the little frog pokémon narrowly hopped out of the way. Grumpig seemed confused at first, but still angry, and began to charge up a psychic attack as it chased after Neptune once more.

"Look out, Neptune!" Eva warned her distressed partner, nearly shrieking as the Grumpig narrowly missed crashing into her in its dizzy rampage. ”Protect yourself and Eevee! Use Bubble to ward it off.”

"Froooooaaaa!" Neptune croaked, hopping in circles as quickly as he could to avoid the bigger pokémon’s attacks. His cheeks swelled with forming bubbles, before unleashing them in a jet of water. Hopefully, it would distract the Grumpig long enough for Eva to get Neptune and Eevee to safety, or at least to stall for enough time to strategize...

Lizzie stroked the Furfrou's fur before looking into it's red eyes. "You need a name..." She thought for a moment before nodding. "Moon and Tears, Furfrou and Sobble." She finally said, picking up their pokeballs and placing them beside the rest. "I think the contest is starting soon, let's head downtown." She held up Dizzie and Waterfall's pokeball and returned them inside. "Tears and Moon can stay out, they must've been trapped there for days... Poor things." And with that she began walking towards the place the competition was going to be held.

the two sisters, both trying to hold val, made their way outside the lab. they regretted this and should of known this would be a bad idea. they unfortunately had to do this until they got a 2nd pokemon so they can each have one instead of sharing. they decided to put val down and continue moving.
"What do you think we'll get, Tirem?" merit chirped, excited once more.
"Whatever it is, I hope it'll be cute! Besides, the next one will be mine since you seem to have claimed Val over there." tirem pointed out, hearing val squeak at them.
