Heading off along Route 01, there's a rather large lack of tall grass to step through, and the only trainers that Magpie can spot on her way towards the forest are a couple of children playing about in the snow. As they both get closer to the wood's entrance, one of the smaller snow covered trees appears to move towards them rather quickly!



A small Snover bumps into Basil, and it lets out a soft little noise of surprise, taking a few steps back as if mildly spooked by the appearance of them!

picked up Basil, who seemed a bit spooked as well. The
Snover looked as if it could run away any second, at
least to Magpie, but she at least wanted to make sure it
was okay. She slowly crouched down to examine the tiny
Snover a bit closer. "Are you alright?" Magpie asked it.

"Yes!" Alastair cheered as he went to pick up the pokeball with the now captured Shelgon. "I'll have to think of a good name for you as we continue our journey." Alastair looked down at Poseidon and smiled to him. "Let's continue onward. We should also find a Pokemon Center later on so we can heal you up so you're all fit and ready to battle." With a new Pokemon added to their team, the two held their heads high as they continued on their first route, now focusing on heading toward the first town.

so you get by pretty quickly and
head to the next town.

but before you could cross the
bridge, you hear a small shreik,
an injured pokemon lies ahead
of you.

someone battled it badly, and
just left it...

this pokemon...is a zoura...and it's
colour is odd..

this pokemon is suffering greatly
from the after effects of its
previous battle with the stranger,
the wild pokemon was suffering from
a burn, and it was still paralyzed.

will you help it? or ignore it?

Jumping out of Alastair's arms, Poseidon quickly ran over to the injured Zoura, looking back at Alastair with saddened eyes. Alastair merely sighed, kneeling beside the injured Pokemon. "What an awful thing to do... Leave a Pokemon like this just suffering." He shook his head and looked at Squirtle. "We're close to town, let's take this little guy to the Pokemon Center with us. We were heading there anyway. I'll carry it." Alastair picked up the Zoura in his arms, making sure that he didn't make it even more uncomfortable than it already was. Now that there was a Pokemon in need of immediate help, Alastair and Poseidon quickened their pace to the Pokemon Center in town.

Alastair would glance back down at the Zoura every so often to make sure that it was doing alright. After awhile of walking and still no town in sight, that's when Alastair realized that he was lost. With an injured Pokemon cradled in his arms, Alastair began to worry until he heard a shriek above him. Soon enough, before him was a legendary- Latias. Shocked, Alastair stood there, before he realized that Latias was there to lend a hand. He nodded his head toward Latias. "Thank you." He whispered, feeling a heavy weight being lifted from his chest. It was the relief of Latias coming to his rescue that made him feel so light at that moment in time.

Aku looked towards the nurse anxiously as she treated the sickly Deerling, looking back towards an equally as-worried Yoshi every few minutes. Finally, when Nurse Joy asked him if he'd like to take the Deerling, he froze. He didn't want to take away the Ducklett's friend... But he also couldn't bring himself to leave the poor thing behind when it reminded him so much of himself. He looked over to Nurse Joy and nodded vigorously. "Of couurse," he said, gently reaching out to stroke the Deerling's side. "I'll take good care of him."
After obtaining the winter deerling, Aku made his way out of the Pokemon center and began heading back towards the lake, to find the Ducklett and let her know her friend would be okay.
