hmm i can't recall anything too specific but basically my old job as a hostess
was just pure embarrassment every other shift because i was super sensitive
and always got upset if i got yelled at or scolded lmao.

Oh!! Something’s that’s stuck with me for a while now is “just because someone has it worse doesn’t mean your problems are any less valid.” I saw the quote online somewhere once, and I loved it - deep down, I did actually sometimes feel guilty for feeling like I was having a pretty rough patch in my life when there were others out there who were going through much worse. Since that quote stuck in my head, I’ve gotten much better at telling myself that my problems ARE still valid and that everyone is different! <3

someone once came into my school to speak to us all, a suicide survivor who attempted to jump off of the golden gate bridge, and he said "we don't get to decide when we're born, so we shouldn't get to decide when we die." beautiful words. :)
