Well, I can't remember too many childhood memories. But I have one. Me and my father, who's barely interacted with me for a while due to his illness at the time, felt good enough one day to stay up at night during the 4th of July. I remembered hating fireworks, since we live right next to an airport that has firework shows that are loud enough to shake the house. Never have I bothered staying up to watch them at all. So, I never saw too many fireworks in my life. But that night, I don't know why, I was compelled to stay up and watch them, and swallow my fear. I did, and my dad came out after me to watch too. I saw some of the biggest, brightest, and most beautiful works of art I've ever seen. It lasted for an hour, just gigantic fireworks lighting up the sky. What's more, the night itself was very dark, and I saw lots of stars after the show was done. I lived in a very light polluted area, so it was special to see. Me and dad counted the constellations and told each other what our favorites were.
