Round Three

As the sun set Riverspell raised the axe above her head as she looked down upon the happily smiling face of Dullahun. Two people were holding him down but he didn't seem inclined to move anyway. They were all unsure about it, but they didn't want to throw another off the cliffs, Night Freak ha almost gotten to the other side. If a wolf got to the other side they would never be able to get it, but it could probably get them. River put this all out of her mind focusing instead on the fact it was him or her. She swung. The axe was sharp and cut through in one go hitting the stump below with a thunk and getting stuck. Blood splattered, not over the three who did the deed but over those watching, those standing in front of Aerrow.
They went to bed that night unhappy and scared none fully believed he had been the wolf, there was always that niggling doubt that he was just plain crazy. And anyway, some thought, he had been crazy long before Maria came and passed on her curse. Sleep was restless that night, and then there was the scream. It was long and full of fear and it seemed to be moving through the village, past every door, no one dared to move, none wanted to meet what had caused that scream.
The sun rose and the villagers hesitantly crept out of their houses. At the village square they were met by a gut wrenching sight. Bones, picked clean were stacked in the middle of the square, on top sat a skull, also picked clean except for the eyes which still sat in their sockets, staring at eternity unblinking. Worst of all though was the message on the notice board, left by the wolf in that all to familiar medium.
"Sorry, none left for you."
Kichou came forward and sniffed the bones then led them all along a winding path past every door in the village. Finally they came to the last house, that of Skydragon. The door was open so the villagers entered, following Kichou to the kitchen, but the only sign that the wolf had been here was a few knocked over chairs and the bones of their friend Sky.
