Werewolf Game: Season 2 {CLOSED}

Round Two
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The sun set over the swollen river. The villagers had decided quickly that Night Freak was the werewolf but none were really sure. They advanced on Night Freak and grabbed her, but then they seemed unsure. It was Kichou who urged them forwards her small fox body like a streak of silver in the darkening night. They followed her to the edge of the plateau dragging their victim with them. They looked at Kichou wondering what to do next but she just looked over the edge. The flood waters had begun to drop, now only reaching halfway up the cliff and it was moving fast filled with debris.

Without a word the villagers threw Night Freak off the cliff and watched as she struggled to surface. It almost seemed like she would safely reach shore then a tree came spiraling down the river and hit her on the head. She sunk below the surface and did not resurface.

The next morning brought a heavy rain which began cause the rivers to rise again. The rain had meant not one villager heard what went on the night before and some dared to hope that there might have not been an attack. They met together in the way-house, as they often did. And noticed that a few of their number was missing. They were scared and worried as they went around the houses, but as they found people sleeping they became more and more confident.

"Spekke's house is the last." Ay4u said to the others.

They reached Spekke's house and knew then that something was wrong. The door was in her front garden claw marks buried in its surface. They stepped inside, Ay4u still leading and searched until they found the bedroom. The bedroom seemed like a battle zone, no piece of furniture was still in one piece or lacking those terrible claw marks. Blood and other more unsavory parts were splattered on the walls and the bones seem to have just been thrown around the room when the wolf was finished with them. All the bones were picked clean of all meat. Then to the horror of the villagers they saw, on the still mostly intact bedside table, Spekke's head. Above it was the message, "Thank you" written hastily, almost like an afterthought with the remaining blood.

[The Owl]

Owl watched as the villagers peered into Spekke's house. She slowly walked up and stuck her head through the door, immediatly regretting it. All the furnature was shredded, blood spattered the wall. One glance at Spekke's decapitated head made her lose her breakfast.

Owl wrenched herself away from the door and headed out into the rain. She wandered throughout the village, finally reaching the bulliten. She grabbed a pen and scrawled a name on a new piece of paper.

"I'm sorry..." She whispered, nailing the piece of paper to the board. "I'm sorry you died, Night. And Spekke. And I'm sorry for voting for you, River..."

Riverspell sat on her front porch, slouching down in the wicker chair as if she had no energy to sit upright. That was actually pretty close to the truth. After last nights bloody work, both by the village and the werewolf, she hardly did. She needed time to sit and think, and to mourn. Mourn for Nightfreak so needlessly killed and Spekke slaughtered by the werewolf. The killing had been gruesome as was common with the night demons. They seemed to enjoy taunting their prey and driving them insane with fear.

She watched as the rest of the village began to gather. Some went to peer into Spekke's house. Others gathered in the common ground while still others fled for their homes. The woman did neither, she simply sat and waited for the inevitable voting. Owl, what a go getter, was already placing his vote and she was unsurprised to see her name once again on the list. Deciding at that moment that she didn't really care what happened (they would all be eaten or killed in the end, right?) she selected a random villager before slipping back into her house. Could Dullahan be the werewolf?

Wingedstar walked slowly around the village, glancing at everyone she walked by nervously. She glanced warily inside spekke's house, disturbed by the scene she left quickly and continued to the news bulletin in the center of the village. There was a new sheet of paper tacked to it with the votes so far from today. Observing the votes already cast, one for Riverspell and one for Dullahan she glanced at each if them, one at a time and decided Dullahan was the more likely suspect of the two, adding her vote by his name.

[O.O I did not think the round would be up so fast. I'll make sure to vote for each round when I post then! So vote: Riverspell]

Ay4u stared with dismay. He was shocked to say the least. His mind was numb, and his thoughts were jumbled. Shortly after entering the bedroom, he turned and walked out, his moments mechanical. After reaching daylight of the outside, his mind came together.

A person he had known his whole life, was dead. [it may not be so... but right now I'm making it that way] Two people had died yesterday, and another today, and one more tonight; the village was falling apart. It took him a little while, but he steeled himself, he was a man, and he was going to have to deal with this. He knew this was going to happen again, especially considering the town's inability to find the werewolf with the methods used thus far. And knowing the village, this method would continue until they caught the werewolf or everyone dies.

With such grim thoughts running ramped in his mind, he decided to just continue with his life, since he was going to die one way or another, he might as well continue. He then walked to his home to start his day.


[This was a kind of fun to write My character at first is sentimental this time, (like what happened with maria, but he went a bit deeper this time) I changed him to how he normally reacts, and thinks, (and because I don't like to have him be dramatic all the time, it's boring that way) make him deal. XD It's kind of interesting.]
