never heard of james or this song, but thank you for the recommendation. i neither really enjoyed nor disliked it, though.

during no part of this could i predict what was coming next. the whole thing was a wild roller coaster. starts quiet. rising. A YELL!! pLUNGING STRAIGHT DOWN INTO THE DEEPEST DEPTHS OF THE MARIANA TRENCH!!! slowly climbing back up again. THEN ANOTHER DIP!! SCREAMING!! THE INSTRUMENTS ALSO WAILING!!

i loved his voice. and the song felt so fun! i don't know how to explain,,, and the eerie sounding parts. oh boy. scrumptious.
i'm unfamiliar with this artist but i'll definitely dig into marianas trench more. :,)

i recently got so into bryan scary and this song is absolutely no exception, it gets me so hyped up for all of what life could throw at me - and then it just flips around. just a wee jiggy thing. it seems the sister to a stab at the sun? which is a track i adore !

i had a half alive phase a couple years back and still really enjoy their music and aesthetic, im just not as up to date on their music as i used to be. so this is a song i haven't heard yet! the beginning, before the vocals and guitar gave me star wars vibes lmao. the lyrics are very poetic, and i'm not religious so some of the lines didn't resonate with me, but lines like "im made of clay..." are nice nods to the stories in the bible. it is very soft and relaxing. it's also super long and i have a hard time staying interested in long songs because i have the brain of a goldfish. the painting in the video was super cool! overall, maybe something i'd listen to if im studying and it happens to come on, but not something i'd add to my playlist to listen to regularly.
