I read the following poster's review and thought it sounded interesting, so even though it wasn't my turn to listen to it I did anyway. I love it a lot. It reminds me of a character of mine. 10/10, thanks so much for the (indirect) rec, I'm so glad I got the chance to discover it. I love everything about it.

I am very fond of the singer's voice, wow. Very charming and to my taste. Very lovely. I could see me singing this passionately in my room during one of my euphoric moments. The faded, echo-y vocals give the perfect atmosphere for the lyrics. The whole song just radiates feelings of both longing and passion. The relatively simple instruments are such a perfect highlight to it all. It makes it feel almost ethereal. I picture the singer lying alone in a sunlit room, grinning madly and gazing at nothing. Great sort of mood. Had to listen twice to please my ear. Thanks for sharing.

Modern Girls & Old Fashion Men - The Strokes

this song is amazing. the strokes is one of my favorite bands but this song is new to me. but honestly, it's definitely one of my new favorites. the male and female singers voice have pretty conflicting voices, yet some how they fit together perfectly. and the instrumentals are always some of the best parts of their music. thanks a lot for the rec, i really liked it :)

ahh i love the use of the piano! it really makes the song stand out. it fits into my music taste as well. i love the mood switch (if that's how i should describe it?) near the middle of the song. after that, it just keeps getting better. i'm definitely going to give it a second listen sometime, this band seems very underrated. i loved the song!

I've heard of that artist before, but never that song! I thought it was pretty good, though the tempo was the right speed for me to enjoy it, and I also liked all the different instruments in the background! Worthy of a like, would listen again.

it's not the type of song i'd typically listen to, but i loved it! it had such a nice energy and just gave out a lot of positive vibes. i love how energetic the instrumentals were and the vocals were really nice! thanks a lot for the rec, i'll definitely be listening to it again :)

o! this is a really lovely melody. wouldn't really consider it my taste because it's a bit too lyric heavy for me, but a remix of this would be amazing!! the music video is very mesmerizing, and i like the story that the song told. the contrast between the bright, uplifting tune and the intensity of the lyrics was also very fresh and made me giggle^^ altogether, very nice song! thanks much!
