factions instead. i have a set canon establi

full control to develop them further. Since

take these NPC factions and craft different

VagaryClan is situated in the center of what could be described as an "enchanted forest"- even though there isn't technically any real magic, it sure seems that way. The ground is smooth with moss and leaves underpaw, the sun rays shine gently through the trees, and the whole forest itself seems to shine with a soft glow. The air smells sweet, colorful flowers are constantly blooming in newleaf and greenleaf, and the water is always cool and refreshing. In general, it is a very pleasant place to live.
However, this part of the forest is extremely small, and it is surrounded by a massive, dark, and confusing expanse of trees- much less welcoming than VagaryClan's refuge. The cats of VagaryClan try their best not to venture into the surrounding wilderness, but sometimes during leaf-fall and leafbare it is necessary to search for prey. And of course, there is always the occasional curious apprentice or warrior that decides they're brave enough to go out alone. It is forbidden to go into this forest- called the "Dark" by the Clan cats- alone due to its confusing nature that can easily cause a cat to get lost. The VagaryClan cats are currently working on finding a way to create a path through the Dark to the outside world, but obstacles and predators bigger than what they're used to in their haven make this more difficult than they initially imagined.
Good thing VagaryClan cats have never been known to give up easily.
This Clan's members are generally friendly and welcoming towards one another and outsiders, however if their territory is threatened then they will not hesitate to defend it. This doesn't happen from other cats so often as predators from the Dark, and border patrols are usually a tense and nervous activity. These cats like to take life in stride and go with the flow- in fact, some of them are probably a little more casual than they should be. Some others want to see their Clan's attitude and routines become a little stricter for fear of becoming weak.
(If other Clans wish to ally with VagaryClan then the borders will be placed on the outside of the Dark part of their territory. This will occur once the VagaryClan cats are able to find their way through and create paths to the outside.)

the cats of flos vitae are just like any other cat except for one peculiar trait...their life force is tied to a flower. each cat bonds with an unique flower that they are called to, their flos vitae; they are not formally named until they find their flos vitae and if they never find one, they are asked to leave. each cat is encouraged to care for their flos vitae; as the name suggests the flos vitae is their flower of life. if the flos vitae dies, the cat dies, and when the cat dies, the flos vitae also dies.
the flos vitae reside in a green meadow with a wide assortment of flowers dotting the area. to the north is a spruce forest which provides the cats shelter and fallen needles are used for bedding.
this will be my second clan on cs, though might not be second for long hint hint, with my first post for twistedclan being here. i would also like colored-in cats please!
