that's because it's scientifically proven that the led light in electronics cause chemical changes in your brain so you can't fall asleep as fast. that's why you should give yourself thirty minutes of no electronic time before you go to bed so the chemical processes in your brain change to allow you to fall sleep easier.

i tend to have these moments of derealization where one thought or action or absolutely nothing can send me into this feeling of .... nothing i do is real. my vision zooms out and i'm looking through the eyes of a stranger, someone who isn't me but is in control of my body. but my body isn't mine, it never was. as if every thought and action i've ever had or done was never in my control. that nothing is real. i go into auto pilot and am just a spectator through this persons eyes. anything can trigger it but it only lasts for a few seconds, though it can feel longer. i've googled it, it's a thing, but i don't exactly fall under all of the categories which makes me wonder if i'm experiencing something other than derealization.

5/10. Honestly I despise my cereal getting even slightly soft, but what I do is I pour the cereal, pour the milk, and then eat it as fast as I can. I have the feeling you left out the fact you're making a MESS pouring milk then cereal out of your confession!!!

This one is really wild. My sister did a horrible prank on me and I wanted to get back at her for it. I planned it for a really long time (since we don't actually live together and visits were few and far in-between), and with my siblings not a lot of pranks were "too far."
When I came to visit, my sister left to go to the store for something, so that's when I took my chance. My sister owns cats and their litterbox is in her room. While she was gone, I took a dump in the catbox (no cats were in the house at the time so they were ok).

When she came home she thought it was the cats who did it and I watched her clean it up. She still doesn't know.
Here's a secret...
It's always funny until someone gets hurt... and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!

      5/10
that's.. actually hilarious.. i'm laughing, silent pranks really are the best ones.
i would tell her sometime though, just to see the look on her face.

so i have this normal, inexpensive backpack, and one time, the zipper got stuck on top, like, it was really stuck.
i continued to use it as there was a tiny spot that was just big enough to squeeze my laptop in there, and other stuff. don't ask why i didn't just get a new one then, i really have no idea.

so one day, i was at my dad's and my not so stepsister saw it, so we literally spent an hour trying to think of ways to fix it.
until we finally got a pair of tiny scissors, and cut around the part the zipper was clamped on. i pulled out the rest of the fabric stuck in the zipper, and now it works fine. needless to say, i still don't regret just tossing it rather than doing that, we both got some great laughs out of it, and i still use it to this day.

3/10 That sounds like something I would do, but I'm surprised it actually worked

So when I like something like a band, show, or hobby, I go through these phases with it. First, I just kind of like it, and I tell people I like it, but I really don't know doodley squat about it. Then, after a little while I become OBESESSED with it. Then after about 9 months- a year of being obesessed with it it just becomes another one of my many interests/hobbies.

5/10 honestly not sure how to feel about this one. I do remember going through the exact same pattern as you with some things

instead of believing in unicorns, i believed in dragons and thought they lived nearby. i had imaginary visions of them it was great

2/10, I've done things similar to that in the past, speaking is hard.

When I realize I'm stuttering I'll cut off my sentence and keep repeating the same sentence until I say it without stuttering. Which normally takes about three to four tries...

5/10 It's understandable. When I get nervous and mess up my speech, I just stop in the middle of the sentence then continue in further broken English. It's embarrassing, and I don't talk for a week afterwards, which just makes it worse. I've resolved to not talking at all. But props to you for continuing to try.

When I was about 9 or 10, I was hiking with my family along the Appalachian Trail. A tired bearded bespectacled man walked up to my father and asked "What city is this?" So he told him, and the strange man resumed hiking further ahead. I had thought nothing of it at the time. Until about 8 years later when I happened on an article about an embezzling millionaire fugitive who had been hiding from the police by hiking hundreds of miles up and down the mountain chain. I recognized the mugshot instantly.
