Well, just like getting 'dirty' or 'clean' getting wet is merely the product of water getting on something and making it wet. If you were to add water to water it'll only just increase the amount of water. If you add grass to grass does that mean grass is messy? Like I'm saying, water is H2O so adding more of that element only add more (obviously) The thing is, some people overlook things, adding water to water will still be water. The only time something is wet is when you add water to non-water things.
