Often, I don't cope to well with it, but I do try to think about the scope of said failure. For example, if I just burned my toast, that won't affect the world forever. There are worse mistakes than burnt toast. Also, if it's bigger, I think of how long it will affect me. When I failed a test in bio last year, I pulled myself together by thinking that yes, it was a bad thing, but it will only affect my grade for a while, as I will do better on the next test
