After what seemed like forever, Azalea smiled down upon her pups. They where all so beautiful. Upon taking a closer look the female noticed two pups had been stillborn. She frowned, upset that they all did not make it. Daisy walked over tot he other pup mother, giving her a reassuring lick. "My little Sage won't be alone any more...." she whispered.

Parker apologized to Azalea before picking up the two stillborns and caring them out into the woods. There he buried the pups next to where he had buried Daisy's stillborn. The shaman said a small pray for them before heading off to find herbs. This would give Azalea some time to be with her pups.

Bandit and Thunder come stumble upon a pair of dogs during their border patrol. Bandit quickly lets out a growl, going in to defensive mode. After all he couldn't be to careful now. His mate was having their pups, and the pups already back at camp needed to be safe. Thunder looked at Bandit giving him a small push before stepping forward. "Who are you and why have you come?" he barks.

The long haired one of the two steps forward, dipping his head before speaking. "I am Wallen, and this is my sister Nina. We have traveled far and wide from our old home. Our pack was wiped out from a fire, and yet some how we managed to survive. We believed the ancestors saved us for a reason. We did not know that reason until they guided us here. I believe we where sent here to help your pack thrive."

Thunder pauses for a moment, letting the words of the other dog sink in. He glances over at Bandit before pack at the pair. Letting out a sigh, Thunder turns and flicks his tail for the pair to follow them. The group of dogs head towards camping, stopping at a small clearing in the woods. There Kodiak and Korra trained. Thunder barks, causing the alpha to pause and look over.

Kodiak excuses himself from his tenerpaw and trots over. "Thunder. Bandit. Who are these two?" the alpha asks, eyeing the new dogs. Thunder pulls Kodiak aside and begins to explain everything while Bandit keeps watch over the new dogs. Korra watches from a far, curious but knows to stay put as not to anger the alpha. Upon finishing their conversation Kodiak returns to the dogs, smiling a bit. "Well if you wish to help us, then welcome to the pack! We have a lot of mouths to feed. Thunder, take every one back and have Charlie get a hunting patrol out."

The alpha returns to Korra, starting some sparring training with her. After the badger attack Kodiak wanted to make sure Korra would know how to fight. The remaining dogs head back to camp, quickly greeted by Charlie and Stone. Thunder relays Kodiak's message to Charlie while everyone introduces themselves. Bandit however goes to visit his mate and new pups.

Charlie sends Stone off on himself, knowing the large gray male would be able to handle a border patrol. She then has the rest of the pack to go hunting. Needing the extra paws to catch as much prey as they could. With so many pups, the pack was thriving.

'Why did I choose to start a Kennel in the middle of winter?' Trevor asked himself, but he knew the answer. As he came to his new territory, he swore to take in any dogs looking for a Kennel to live in. He sat down in his territory taking in the surroundings, he liked it a lot and decided to stay. He looked up to the stars and silently asked for a shaman. As he got back up to go on patrol, images of his past flashed in his eyes. The terror of other kennels taking over his pack, they had formed alliances and brutally killed anyone left. His whole family was killed, well almost. His only good flashback was one that he saw one of his siblings escape on the other side of camp. He shook away all the memories, not wanting to create any hope. He walked away and started patrolling, looking for paw prints and any signs of life.

Bullet, Ricochet and Gabriel entered the camp, holding three voles and a small, cautious female German Shepherd slowly trailing behind the three older dogs. Gabriel kept on glancing back at the small dog, and giving her gentle smiles. "What do you think we should call this Tenderpaw?" Gabriel softly asked the other two. "Something threatening," Ricochet barked, dropping his vole along with the other two voles Gabriel and Bullet put. "But she's only a Tenderpaw!" Gabriel retorted, frowning. Ricochet shrugged, inspecting the small, trembling female. "Maybe she had nicknames before. She has no name and all, but if she had any nicknames, I guess we could use them as inspiration." Bullet suggested, glancing at both the German Shepherd and Gabriel. Gabriel nodded slightly. "Any nicknames, gal?" She asked, lowing her head so it was near the height where the scared Tenderpaw was. She shook her head, not daring to say anything. "Michelle. We'll call her Michelle." Gabriel barked suddenly, lifting her head back up. Ricochet didn't argue with her, neither did Bullet. "Michelle it is." Bullet nodded.

"Hey, Boom!" Boom heard Gabriel bark his name. He was currently protectively pacing around Lily, but Lily nodded at him and Boom scrambled outside. "Yeah?" Boom answered, seeing an unfamiliar, young female German Shepherd trembling in front of Gabriel. He also spotted Amour, poking his head out of his den. "This is Michelle." Gabriel introduced, smiling down at Michelle. Michelle yipped quietly, trying to hide herself under Gabriel. "As well as my apprentice. Please welcome her to the pack. Gabriel barked, smiling. Boom looked down at the ever so innocent Michelle. She had the most prettiest eyes Boom ever seen - besides Lily's, of course. "She'll fit right in."

Amour could sense that Lily was ever so close to going into labor. Amour told Boom after his small meeting with Michelle, and Boom seemed more protective of Lily after the news. Amour stayed close to Lily, a few herbs on his side, just in case anything went wrong. Amour saw Boom's face, how scared he looked. "Everything is going to be fine." Amour tried to sooth Boom, which only worked a bit. "I really do hope so." Boom replied, looking at Lily's body, which was laying down, waiting for something to happen. "You're going to be a brilliant father." Amour mumbled. "T..thanks." Boom barked quietly. "You know, I always wanted pups of my own. Before I found out I was suppose to be a Shaman, I fell in love with the most kind, beautiful, caring dog I've met. But then my life turned around - in a really bad way. I never saw her again, but I hope she's living, and living a good life." Amour sighed, watching Lily's body fall and rise from every breath. "Oh, really?" Boom asked, looking at Amour. Amour nodded with another sigh. "I'm sorry." Boom barked softly. "Don't be. It's not your fault. Plus, nothing should stop your happiness from your future pups." Amour forced a small smile, and Boom smiled back. "You're right," Boom nodded, and inched closer to Lily. "I'm going to be the most proud father in the world today."

Before, Bullet and Gabriel had a fight over who should mentor Michelle, and in the end Gabriel won. But now he didn't regret it whatsoever. He watched from afar how caring Gabriel treated the small Tenderpaw. Gabriel seemed to treat the Tenderpaw as a mother. The forest around him was calm. It was getting a bit dark, but nothing too bad. A sudden, loud bark broke the serene silence, followed by several loud howls. "Lily's in labor!" Bullet could hear Boom shout. Bullet rushed to the den Lily was, but Boom stopped him. "I'm sorry, Alpha, but Amour told me to guard the outside. He told me Lily will get stressed if we all watch her." Boom explained, as Gabriel, Ricochet and Michelle came as well, listening to what Boom just barked. Bullet hesitated for a bit, but nodded. "Tell Lily I wish her luck on her pups."

"Ricochet, go on a hunting patrol. We need more prey for the pups. I'll be staying behind, guarding the camp." Bullet commanded Ricochet. Ricochet nodded. "Take your time. If you can't find any prey, that's fine. Just try your best." Bullet barked, as Ricochet started to go. "Will do." Ricochet answered, glancing back. "Anything for the pups."

"What's happening?" Michelle asked softly, as Gabriel led her out into the forest. "Lily is giving birth, young one." Gabriel answered, looking ahead and walking into the forest further, before stopping abruptly, which made Michelle halt. "We're not allowed to watch, but I can train you in the meantime." Gabriel barked, glancing down at Michelle for a moment, then going completely still and silent. "What are you-" Michelle couldn't finish her question before Gabriel cut her off. "Shush." Gabriel commanded quietly. Out of the shadows, a small, scrawny squirrel slipped out. Gabriel crouched down, silently stalking the squirrel. Michelle noticed how she was barely moving. Gabriel growled before pouncing on the squirrel. The squirrel squealed and squirmed out of her claws. Gabriel didn't bother chasing it down, and turning back to Michelle. "Why did you let it go?" Michelle asked with a tilt of her head. "I let it slip out of my claws. No need to kill for an example. But did you notice how silent I crept behind it?" Gabriel asked. Michelle nodded. "Good. Now you try. First, go silent and completely still until you smell or see prey. Then, creep behind it and then pounce. We'll be using a stick, though. Not an actual piece of prey." Michelle nodded. "All right, Tenderpaw. You ready, young one?" Gabriel asked. "Yes." Michelle replied. "Ready, set, go."

Pack of Olympic Forest
Number of Dogs: 10 adults, 4 tenderpaws; 6 female, 8 male

Starkie watched as the two hunted. She had left Badger back at camp, knowing that this would be more than a hunt. Finally,
she cornered the bigger dog against a large rock. Nervous, Pie looked at her.

"Pie, will you be my mate?" She boldly asked him.

Pie nodded silently.

Meanwhile, Raleigh was on another hunting trip. She, Jack, and Pebble were all after whatever they could catch to bolster their winter stores.

Blue had taken Freya on patrol, as it was now customary to do. He had also taken Briar in order to teach him some battle moves with Freya, an experienced fighter.

Stitches and Rowdy were busy teaching their charges trap maneuvering, replacing traps with twigs and stones arranged in patterns.

Bramble and Badger were talking quietly, seeming to be in grief. None dared disturb them.

Last spoken to ancestors: 23rd July

A small whimper caught the attention of Rerria and she called Bryan over. "I think I've found something." She said, before leading him around a tree stump. On the other side was a young dog, cowering from them. He didn't say anything, nor did he look at them. "Hey, what's your name." she said, trying to sound friendly.
"W-Waylar. You're not going to hurt me... are you? Not... one of them... are you?" he said, shivering but looking at them. As he did so, he seemed to realise they were no harm, and stood. "Can you help me? Please? I'm not safe out here..."
"Our kennel camp is the safest place near here. Will you be ok coming to it with us?"
The little dog nodded and Rerria turned abruptly and started to lead them back. As she walked, she tuned out of the sounds of Byran explaining how the kennel worked, and thought about why the new tenderpaw was so scared. He was only young, so it's possible he was attacked by a hog or something. However, if he'd been scared by other dogs... or even humans... She sighed. Everything was going so well. But now there was a chance of a threat and the order would be disrupted.

Squealing with excitement, Juniper scurried out of her den and raced towards Kierat, who was chatting with Byran. When she reached them her eyes didn't leave Kierat's for even a millisecond as she tried to catch her breath back. A little startled, the shaman took a few steps away from the couple but watched curiously. "What is it?" Kierat asked, his expression full of concern and his tail wagging slightly due to nerves.
"I'm- well, I'm 90% sure that, I think... Well, I am pregnant." There was a moment of silence, before Kierat laughed joyously. His tail broke out into a crazy wag, and Juniper's joined it. "I'm... I'm... well, apparently I'm speechless! This is amazing! Brilliant! I love you." he leant in and nuzzled her cheek.
Byran was also pleased. Now, he'd have something other than gathering herbs to collect. And since he wasn't very sentimental, he didn't give the couple much time to share their happiness. "Well, Juniper," he said, getting their attention, "You'll probably have about one to two moons, depending on how far along the pregnant is. I suggest you don't go hunting. But keep exercised in camp. Report to me for checkups every other day, ok? Right, I'm off to take Achilles herb hunting." he nodded and walked off. Kierat chuckled lightly.

"So, you say it was a human with scary dogs who were trying to get you?"
"Yes."
"And your mum isn't with you because..."
"She died."
"Oh. I'm sorry. Well, now you're part of us now, we'll keep you safe. You say you don't like fighting? So, you'd rather train as a shaman. Well, that's fine. Byran will be pleased. You must respect him though. Always do as his says. Same goes for everyone older than you. Come on, I'll show you around."
As she guided him around, she felt worried about the human. They could fight off badgers, hogs, other dogs, most animals, but not humans. Hopefully he'd not start to come into their territory with his dog, because if he did they'd be in trouble. She'd have to warn the others without causing too much fear.

Rocky wandered his territory, hoping that he would be lucky enough to find another dog. His kennel was growing quickly and he liked that. Sudden, a large figure walked out of the bushes in front of him, head down, and almost bumped into him. He let out a low growl and the dog stopped short. He looked up with a goofy smile on his face, then circles him while smelling all around him.

"What are you doing?" Rocky asked in a warning tone.

The dog stopped short and smiled again, "I was looking for you. I was following your scent to try to find you.
My name is Bragi, and I want to join you." The irish wolfhound with with a smile.

Rocky shrugged and showed him back to camp, introducing him to everyone else and then going to sleep. Tomorrow would be a big day for him.

~THE NEXT DAY~

Rocky woke up early, planning on heading out before everyone got up. Iggy was already awake, though, along with everyone else. He wondered how they were all awake before him. He doled out orders and then left to speak with the ancestors.

"Great ancestors, hear my cry! Please send me a strong and loyal dog that i can use to help me lead my kennel. i thkn you dearly for sending me so many new dogs, and i hope that you will see fit to grace me with one more." Rocky said as he bowed and left.

The bold little brute that the ancestors have sent has fit in well with that pack, according to Troy's point of view. To the rest of the pack it was just like having another Troy around but this pup likes to flirt with all the females. None of the other males liked this and refused to train him so Troy took on the role himself and became the tenderpaw's mentor.

"So what are you going to teach me first? Oh! Teach me how to hunt! All the ladies would like me then." The youngster barked at Troy as he followed the alpha's heals.

"Ha! That is a fae's job. No I will teach you some basics and then fighting. Though we should hurry it up, I want to patrol the area today. I have been guarding camp while my mate was injured." Troy instructed as he picked up his pace. Zak didn't say much more as he focused on keeping up with his mentor.

Roo Chasers
"If you can't handle the heat get out of our desert!"

Territory:
The Roo Chasers kennel is located in the Australian Outback, hence the name Roo Chasers. They make their dens in the caves of Ayres Rock, better known as Uluru, and drink from a nearby spring.

Personality/Reputation:
The Roo Chasers are very arrogant and are known for bragging about how amazing they are for surviving in the desert. If there's a fight or argument they're there!

Looks/Breeds:
Being in the Australian Outback, the majority of the dogs are Australian cattle dogs and Australian shepherds but the other dog breeds are usually reddish in colour or have darker fur, like greys and blacks, and are quite large.

Traditions:
When its time to be categorized into either sharpteeth or omegas, tenderpaws go through the Test Of Worthiness. During this time they leave camp at dawn to get a tuft of kangaroo fur and must return to camp with the fur by nightfall. If they return on time and with the fur they are to join the ironteeth. If they fail by either coming back late or without the fur they must join the omegas.

(Could I please have a stump tailed cattle dog for my alpha? My nanna owns one and i love her to bits!)
