the rhodesian ridgeback is a dog breed in africa. it is a large dog breed. it got it's name from the area of africa it was founded. they spread across other continents as they were taken back to europe and distributed. great danes are a very large breed of dog that come in a variety of colors.

the cattle egret is a species of heron found in warm temperate zones. it gets it name from the relationship it has with the cattle, called commensalism. there are three types of symbiotic relationships:

commensalism: when one organism benefits from the other, but it does not harm the other organisim it is benefiting from.

eg: the cattle stirs up insects and anthropods as it grazes, in which the cattle egret feeds off, but the egret does nothing for the cattle as the bugs do not annoy or affect the cattle whom is grazing. the cattle is not harmed nor has a change made.

mutualism: this is where both organisms benefit from the pairing and do not harm eachother.

eg: a species of cactus produces a flower that attracts a specific species of bat. the bat is offered some nectar to feed off, and in return the cactus gets it's genes spread to aid in the help of reproduction. this is the same as bees, birds and butterflies with various flowers.

parasitism: when one, or mutiple of the same species of organism benefit from a host, usually by feeding off it's nutrients. as a result one organisim gets harmed, the host.

eg: cat fleas sucking the blood of a domesticated cat. not only does it itch and irritate the cat, but the flea removes blood and nutrients.
