yeah... it really had an impact on me, super special anime to me as i coincidentally watched it in 2015 (which is the year the anime was set in) and had just turned the same age as the pilots besides kaworu and rei (her birthday would be in december). so, i felt a huge connection to nge and the characters, idk... good times
