It depends. If you're in a movie theater, then yes. If you're at home, it doesn't annoy me as much (mostly because I do this oops)

Yesss. When I was younger, I somehow ruptured my left ear drum & after it healed I have had a bit of trouble hearing out of it.

no? if i'm wrong, i just feel embarrassed but grateful. if i know i'm right, i just kind of cringe at whoever tried to correct me.
