Okay so last year during Halloween, my best friends and I all went trick or treating together. We were going up to a house, and I was the last in line since I was the slowest, and suddenly a black cat ran right in front of me. AKA a black cat crossed my path on Halloween. (If you're not aware of superstitions and stuff that means bad luck) My friends and I all thought it was pretty funny and we laughed about it. I didn't take it as an omen or anything because I'm not superstitious. However, the next seven houses that we went to, they ran out of candy right when they got to me, meaning I didn't get any candy but my friends did. I was okay with this and laughed it off but this trend of bad luck continued through out the night. A lamp post flicked and turned off when I walked past it, the step of a stair broke when I stepped on it, and I stepped in dog poop. I'm not superstitious or anything, but I just thought it was a funny line of coincidences lol
