cherryfang padded out of her den,
her long fur brushing the ground as she pricked her ears,
listening for anything. with a small grin,
she slipped out of the den.
she then slyly darted out of camp,
not hearding the rustle as another cat left their den.
as cherryfang made her way to the river,
she dipped her paws in it, a shiver of exitement.
she lowered her head to the water,
sniffing it, before suddenly a paw was pressed onto the top of her head,
causing her to give off a gurgled scream, trying to resist, but due to she had just woken up,
it was quite hard to, but she then remembered the poppy seeds that had been hidden in her food.
darkness enclosed her mind as she slowed
after a few moments she stopped moving,
her body stopping after a few moments.
the killer smiled gleefully, before freezing as they heard a russle in the bush's,
and they fled. bonefur rushed into the clearing,
before letting out a yowl of pain and anguish at seeing his best friend,
cherryfang, laying motionless with her head in the river.
he closed his eyes before jumping into the river,
air escaping his lungs as he saw the glowing form of cherryfang,
before darkness took control.

riverclan, you have lost your first pair! hurry before the murderer
gets you all!

[Coco Bunny]

Potoopaw opened his eyes, stretching and yawning widely. The young tom was used to waking up early - his mentor was always eager to get the training started the moment the sun came up, so he naturally awoke as the light softly gleamed off of the water. Strangely though, as he poked his head out of his nest, looking around, there was no sign of Cherryfang, or Bonefur for that matter. 'Where is she?' he wondered, narrowing his large eyes briefly. Oh well - he still wasn't a warrior, so maybe she was patrolling or doing some super important warrior stuff.
