I was a bit backed off at first due to how very upbeat the sound was, but when the voice finally kicked in I instantly liked it. The way it sounds is pretty cool, and I liked most of the beat of the song, it sorta reminded me of a few other artists I know who do a similar thing. Definitely found a new favorite song.

I don't really like how the singing actually started over a minute into the song. The voices sound pretty interesting. It sounds kind of electronical in a way. The instruments sound really cool. The beat is pretty nice but it kind of stayed the same throughout the song in my opinion. It's a pretty interesting song, but it won't be something I'll listen to again. I'm just not a fan of this kind of music. Thank you for the suggestion though

this is a band i've heard people rave about and i like their dances and if i am feeling pretty hyped i could see myself really getting into it at some point but overall i don't think i'd listen to them loads. i would listen to them again though. i get why people love it so much. they've got some good beats and they would be good for workouts, i've found this to be a trend in the kpop type genre [from what i've heard, which isn't much] overall good stuff but not my first choice. i'm glad to see you love it though! (: i know there is a large audience for this sort of music.

Bastille is usually a hit or miss artist for me. Unfortunately, this was a miss for me. I wasn't really a fan of the vocals or lyrics, and the chorus just didn't sit well with me. The instrumentals were interesting but that was about it.

i feel like i quite like some rustic music but this wasn't really my style, as much as i'd what it to be! i see the appeal it sounds like its should be in the kubo movie, i'm not sure why, it has some sort of mystical character element to it. i like some people who produce there music with that sort of sound and am okay with so slips in the key but i don't know why but i just don't feel much towards this. i feel like it might/should be part of a wider story like a soundtrack for a game or movie but i just don't get it, and i feel bad saying so but it is true. i also think there are too many big words in there that the catchyness/flow of the song doesn't really go imo, but i know many people love that more non-conventional approch.

it was pretty good, though i wasn't too much of a fan of the beat. it has a tad bit of a punky feeling to it, if you get what i mean? and perhaps that is what is turning me away. the mixture of instruments/different sounds are a bit too busy in my opinion, though this song does seem play it off pretty well. the voice was incredible, definitely, and the lyrics were pretty interesting to analyze once i i finished listening. overall, i'd have to say that i wouldn't intentionally listen to this song again, though i wouldn't skip over it if it appeared on pandora/spotify radio.

Very nice vocals to start the song with. I do like songs that start up right away with the singing, but for this particular song, it seemed a bit too abrupt with no real introduction. Netherless, the instruments are really nice and matches the beat well. The little koala at the bottom is really cute. It's a bit too slow for my taste and it's not my type of music, but out of a 10, I would give it a 6. It won't be something I'd listen to again, but thanks for the suggestion

Music is.. fine. I guess. Pretty and soft... but...
I could never find myself supporting it. I don't like kpop or anything that it stands for. It's basically controlled by rich men sitting at desks, thinking about how they can make the most money. The singers just learn the dances and sing lyrics written for them. I can't listen to kpop without thinking about that, so I can't fully enjoy it. Sorry...

(Gonna have to argue on the side of Kpop because Kpop isn't the only music controlled by rich people looking to get money. The only difference between the American and Kpop way of doing things is that Kpop idols have agencies that do contracting for them and get things like managers, stylists, make-up artists, PR and marketing teams for them. American artists have all of that too, except it's all subcontracts instead of done by one agency. It's about branding, and American artists don't do that all by themselves. Refusing to support Kpop because there are other people behind the idols is ridiculous because, by that mentality, you shouldn't support any artist of any country that doesn't do all the work by themselves. The music industry has almost always been about making money, so Kpop agencies aren't doing anything new.)
Another edit, because plenty of western artists don't write their own music. The song you reviewed was actually written and produced by members the group, and I appreciate that they are dancing and signing at the same time while western artists don't usually bother to dance at all. Some groups even choreograph parts of their dances.


WHOO, giant rant aside, here's my song review lol

There are some vocaloid songs I don't enjoy, but I liked this one. I think Gumi and Rin made a nice duo, even if their voices are manufactured. It gives me vibes similar to Kagerou Days, my absolute favorite vocaloid series. It sounds similar to a few of those songs, so I did enjoy it. The guitars aren't overly intrusive, which I can really appreciate. I found myself bobbing my head along to the beat and listened all the way through. I haven't listened to vocaloid in a long time, so thanks for the suggestion!! :D
