9. There is a way to make an antagonistic character likeable and interesting, and that's NOT what they did. I was hoping he'd get character development and we could see more sides to him than just a jerk. But as the series went on, we never got to see any character development from him at all. He was a jerk because he just wanted to be. And being "misunderstood" is no way to excuse his actions. He was just a shallow mean cat who went too far.
