Gingerstorm was shocked at the second kill. She had been so sure. She knew only a strong cat could have killed. Bearclaw was her guess. The apprentices and the medicine cats were out. So was the queen. So it was down to the Warriors or Smallstar. But in Gingerstorm's opinion, it was likely to be Bearclaw.

The black leader climbed up the Highrock and sat on the top, curling his tail around his paws and called for a Clan meeting. "Well, we can't let death weaken us. We cannot seem weak to the other Clans! Gingerstorm, can you order some patrols?" Smallstar leapt back down onto the ground. "And we need to try our best to keep eating and keep the fresh-kill pile stocked," he added, picking a thrush to eat from the fresh-kill pile.

Nightbird flattened her ears as the cats present almost
unanimously voted her as the killer. "This isn't my fault!
I would never murder a Clanmate.." As they had ignored
Petalfire, so they ignored Nightbird's pleas of innocence.
Hurt and betrayed, the she-cat dashed out of the camp,
running blindly through the forest, not paying attention
to where her paws took her. The sound of rushing water
suddenly reached her ears, and too late, Nightbird tried
to stop. Her momentum carried her into the river, and
she was swept downstream. Luckily for her, a RiverClan
patrol was passing by the other side, and were able to
rescue the drowning warrior. Having no Clan to turn back
to, Nightbird joined RiverClan as a warrior of their Clan.
Back ThunderClan, cats returned to their normal routines.
Watch out, ThunderClan! There is still a murderer among you!

{Not trying to mini-mod, but it hasn't even been a day, so probably not}.

Spottedpelt nipped off the last few stalks of watermint
before standing to gather what she had collected to take
them back to camp. Unbeknownst to her, she was being
watched. A cat was hidden in the reeds nearby, and as
she straightened, leaped out and knocked her into the
nearby stream. Though she struggled, the cat held her
down until her movements ceased, and she drowned.
They left the scene moments before Twigwhisker got
there. He had promised Spottedpelt he would help
collect herbs, and they planned to meet by this very
stream. However, upon finding her sodden form, the
tom threw himself into the stream in grief, his own
drowned body washing up next to hers.
Watch out, ThunderClan! There is a murderer among you!
