"Oh - okay." The black tom looked at Spottedpelt. "Can you get her ready for burial? Falconeyes will be buried tonight," Smallstar meowed. He looked back at Oakpaw, Scatterpaw, and Nightbird. "It looks like Petalfire was innocent, then." Could the murderer be a loner or a rouge? Did it have to be a ThunderClan cat? Or was the murderer a RiverClan, ShadowClan, or WindClan cat?

She nodded sorrowfully, wondering why Featherwhisker hadn't woken up yet. Spottedpelt didn't like when her mentor wasn't awake at the time she was. It felt like she needed Featherwhisker right now. Burial wasn't her thing--death wasn't either. It made her feel like she couldn't help.

Nightbird nodded absentmindedly. She felt horrible for voting out Petalfire, even if she hadn't been the only one. After all, they had no evidence against her. Scatterpaw had never seen who Blueblaze had left with, and as far as she knew, he hadn't seen anyone else there when he found Falconeyes either. I just wish that we knew, so that we could exile the foxheart once and for all...

[Daytime-Despair]

Duskfeather saw Falconeyes and let out a gasp. "We- we were wrong. It wasn't Petalfire..." He said.

Twigwhisker emerged from the den with his tail dragging on the ground picking up all manner of dirt. His fur stood up in unruly spikes as usual, but this morning he didn't have the energy to groom himself. He lifted his head to the ruckus. Faconeyes had been murdered. The clan was voting again. What a horrid thing this was. Exiling a fellow clan-mate in the hopes of saving the clan. It didn't work before, but it was possible, maybe. Last time he didn't have the heart to vote for any cat and Petalfire had been exiled. This time he would vote, but he wouldn't like it.

Oakpaw gently dropped the body in camp, 'So it wasn't Petalfire,' he thought, feeling bad for exiling an innocent clanmate. He sat down close to Smallstar and pondered again about who killed Hawkeyes.
