Whitekit's eyes were dull with grief. The tiny scrap hadn't left the nursery in days, refusing to eat or sleep. She wouldn't believe her sister was the murderer. A cat approached the nursery, nudging Whitekit to her paws. "C'mon... At least come outside. The fresh air will do you some good." Whitekit protested half-heartedly when the older cat picked her up by her scruff, setting her down in the middle of the clearing. "There. I know how much this must be hurting you, Whitekit." The cat sighed, looking up at the cloudless sky. "It took me moons to get over my own sister's exile." Whitekit looked up. "Y-your s-sister was exiled?" She whispered, tears still sparkling in her eyes. The other cat nodded, a wistful fondness taking over her eyes. "Her name was Petalnose. She was the kindest and most beautiful she-cat I've ever known. But she was framed-" The cat clenched their eyes shut, tears of grief and anguish welling up against her eyelids. "By Rowanbreeze. He fed a kit death berries, and blamed it on her. She had just become medicine cat since her mentor had died. Nobody questioned it... They exiled her without another thought. Rowanbreeze admitted his crime on his deathbed, but it was too late. Only a few days after her exile we discovered a fox den, and I had to watch those wretched creatures drag my sister's body inside." The cat opened her eyes, a few tears escaping down her cheeks. "ThunderClan must pay for their mistake." She whispered, her voice suddenly hard and filled with determination. Before Whitekit could even look up she was on the ground, the life bleeding out of her from a long gash on her stomach. "I repaid the favour by poisoning Shellkit..." The cat hissed, seeing the horror and dashing through Whitekit's eyes. "But that's not enough. You all must pay." It was at this moment that Nightpaw padded out from the apprentice's den. Shock and fear struck her as her eyes flitted between the body and the cat standing over it. "It... You..." She gasped, realization dawning on her. "That's right." The cream she-cat's fur glinted in the light, her blue eyes piercing as she stared straight at Nightpaw. "It was me." Whitestar's stare turned into a snarl, and only a whimper managed to escape Nightpaw before the killing bite had been delivered. Whitestar looked around the clearing, an empty satisfaction in her gaze. She had done it. She had gotten revenge, at last. She would rebuild this clan under a new name: WhiteClan. She would bring in outsiders and train them- and never again would she allow a cat to go through the same pain she had once suffered at the paws of her fellow clanmates in her once-home. ThunderClan was dead.

I realized as soon as I posted and was like 'crap! messed up!' I've already gone back and fixed it ^^

Not always, actually! Sometimes there'll be a witness left- if the murderer doesn't pick the witness to murder when there are three cats left, then the clan wins cx
