Yup, it's Tallpoppy!

Here's why:
Almost lost- Shadow clan was evacuating their camp, but she and her kits were missing.
They found us just in time- Firestar and Onewhisker/star found them just as a monster cut down a tree near them. Firestar then saves her kit and Onestar from being crushed.
I almost lost one- Her son, Marshkit
Up up in the sky- A hawk had grabbed him and was flying away
He saved him just in time- Brakenfur grabbed Marshkit just before the bird took off, saving him.
I became good friends with her- She became close with Ferncloud on the journey.
They became close to him- Her kits became close friends with Birchkit.
Though we were sad to have to say goodbye- They had grown close to Ferncloud and Birchkit, the kits didn't want to leave each other.
We couldn't have stayed together- They were part of different clans.
I helped teach him our ways- When Tigerclaw/star joined Shadow clan, she and Flintfang helped teach him how Shadow clan fights.
