Murderers in Thunderclan V.4

Wheatpaw yawned as he woke up from his long nap. Shaking himself, he decided to enjoy the day and go out hunting. Sniffing the air, Wheatpaw began chasing a mouse. However, while he was stalking it, a horrid stench of death and blood hit him. The cream tom stopped his hunt to look for where the scent was coming from. He gaped in horror as he saw a limp figure lying on the ground. Wheatpaw ran back to camp, carrying the kit. He set the she-kit on the ground.
Looking up, he announced, "Mistykit is dead. This was no deed by fox or badger. ThunderClan, we have a murderer among us."

[Jaskiest]

Kestrelcreek purred softly in his sleep as he hunted a rabbit in his dreams. Just as he was about to pounce, a loud call woke him. He recognised the voice of Wheatpaw, proclaiming "Mistykit is dead!' He leapt to his paws and ran out of the warrior's den to where the kit's body lay. "No," he choked out, voice thick with grief and shock. "She's just a kit.. and those are indeed cat scratches.. who could do this?" He wretched involuntarily, his youth as a warrior showing through in this disturbing discovery.

Tangleclaw emerged from his den with an expression of horror plastered onto his face; dark blue eyes wide with horror and claws unsheathed. "What happened?" He growled, pacing back and forth, staring at Kestrelcreek, Wheatpaw, and Mistkit, he murmured softly: "Who would want to kill a kit?" He bent his head and sat beside Kestrelcreek.

Snowstorm was collecting herbs in the forest when she heard the squeals of a scared kit, these were abruptly cut off. She pricked her ears, seeing if she could find where they came from, but had no luck.
She opened her mouth, taking in the scents of the forest.
mistykit's fear scent. she thought.
wait, there's more scents mixed in.... The scents of other cats.... she assumed that these cats had been walking with mistykit, until she smelled another scent
blood.... Death.
Snowstorm ran, following the kit's scent trail.
She stopped, seeing a pool of blood, and three sets of paw prints.
One, was small, and ended at the pool.
She guessed these were mistykit's.
The others were larger, and led away from the pool.
Snowstorm picked one trail and followed it, the fear scent overwhelmed all others, so she was unable to know whose it was...
They headed towards camp, both trails.
She looked to the centre of camp, seeing a small crowd beginning to form around wheatpaw.
And then she saw it.
The dead kit dangling in his jaws, claw marks scratched across its throat.

Owlwing woke up and realized fast that there must be something wrong... "Were is Mistykit...?"
She left the Queen's den and saw the little assembly and went over.
"...... Mistykit! No!"
