Silentgaze was sure it was Mistfeather. She was not worried. At least, that was what she kept telling herself. But some deep part of her worried. She was out hunting, but she was too distracted and missed the bird by a mile. Mousedung.

Moonkit lay in the nursery with her head on her paws, staring at the entrance. She didn't want to smell blood anymore, she wanted it to stop.

Dewstep looked at Moonkit, seeing that she seemed miserable. She decided to go outside of the den, to see if it was safe. Once she was out, she looked around to see if there were any more murders. She hoped not.

Silentgaze saw a vole next. She chased it and then tripped over something... furry? She faceplanted into the ground. Lifting her head, she saw Aquapool. She was sprawled out with deathberries dribbling from her mouth, eyes staring lifelessly into nothing. She yowled in grief. I was so sure it was Mistfeather! she thought devastatedly.
