Tanglekit's eyes lit up as she saw Jaykit awake, even if she was upset. She walked over, "Jaykit? Are you okay?"

Mistfeather managed a nod, still feeling shocked that someone could betray their Clan, their code, the life they stood for, like this, and kill their deputy. Springing after Swiftheart, she tagged a few tail-lengths behind her to camp, carefully watching both the queen's and her own backs to make sure no horrid cat lurked in the forest.

She slowed down and walked into camp, trying to stay calm. She entered camp and walked inside, shaking.

Ivypool rested her head on the deputies flank.
"You were my role model... Who would want to kill you..." She murmured softly. She stood up and padded slowly towards camp, tears streaking down her face.

Quickly following her, Mistfeather dashed into camp, then took a moment to compose herself, licking her ruffled chest fur, before heading straight to the leader's den. Although she saw Nightpaw, she paid him no heed; her news was far more important, she was sure. "Solsticestar?" she called, hating the slight tremble of fear in her voice. "Solticestar, it's...it's Timberfall. He's- he's dead," she choked out. "And the blow was a Clan cat's, I'm sure."

She headed back ti the nursery, still shaking.

"What's going on?" Quickstorm asked, sprinting over to the croud of cats. When she saw the deputy's body, she froze, remembering a day, moons ago, when Ravensky murdered ThunderClan...
