Blazepaw headed out of the apprentices' den, hearing the commotion. He was shocked to see Snowface, dead and, turning to talk to one of his clanmates there asked,"Solsticewind... what happened?"

She stuck out her head from the apprentice den. She heard rainpaw and duckpaw. Following them she saw SnowFace. "No!"She yelled. Who could do this? She sniffed and smelled fresh killed voles. She turned and ran back to the clan looking for QuickPaw.

Icecloud padded towards all the commotion. "What's wrong? Has something happe-" she started to mew, breaking off as she saw Snowface's dead body. "Oh StarClan, no... who would do this to her?" she mewed, her usually calm eyes betraying her fear and sadness, her pelt bristling with the fear of being murdered. Who would hate her enough to do this? She was a good deputy, with no reason to be killed... she thought to herself, tail drooping.

[gallifrey falls.]

Numb, Rainpaw had no answer for Duckpaw. "I-I don't know."

Rainkit blindly looked around and got up blood filling her nose. ''Ravensky whats going on?'' she asked. The tiny kit padded over to the warrior almost tripping on another rock. She sat down near Ravensky not wanting to walk and trip.

Solsticewind turned her head to see the dead cat's neck, "Sh-She must've been murdered... the cut in her throut explains it." She said to Blazepaw and Ravensky.

Wolfsong watche the action going on outside and peered past her Clan-mates to see the limo body of Snowface. She trotted forward and hung her head. She didn't say anything, but she sighed with sorrow.

"A monster would do this..." Ravensky said, his voice low and his tone was sad. "Snowface...you were a good deputy. May you rest in peace in StarClan." He licked her face, sighing. "Rainkit, a cat is in StarClan now." He turned to the kit, smiling a bit as she almost tripped on another rock.

Ivypool raced out of camp with her fluffy tail streaming out behind her, heading towards the area of the yowl. She entered a clearing and saw Solsticewind sitting over the dead deputy.
"Oh no..." She whispered... She checked the wound. "Oh my... I-i-ts to clean to be a-a f-fox or a b-badger... It was a cat!"

Blazepaw asked, trying to hide his fear of there being such a vicious cat in the clan,"Murderer? But who would murder? Do you have any idea of who?"
